My hope is a 4K 2D background upgrade with subtle changes like slightly changed police station, slightly changed puzzles and Crimson Heads making a return.
Loved the way the game was split before Leon/Claire scenario's so would hate to see that altered.
If I can't play Leon A then Claire B or Claire A then Leon B then I will be frustrated at Capcom.
Follow all these rules Capcom and I will be VERY happy.
So what do you want to see out of the RE2 remake?

I don't care what they would change or alter, if it's going to look good (ultra uber HD graphics), i will be happy  P.s if you'd ask me about changes, let's hope they will follow as with RE0, so hopefully there will be very few changes.

I hope we get Real 3d backgrounds this time AND a option for third person camera xD
and Re4 Costumes for Leon and Ada :3
and CV costumes for Claire
and for sherry her Re6 ones ROFL

-Fixed camera angles & tank controls
-Optional analog control scheme
-Limited ammo, items, inventory space
-Main scenarios/storylines expanded
-Fixed gap between RE2,RE3 and RE:Outbreak(those 3 just can't go along)
-Add creatures similar to the Crimson Heads
-New puzzles/Change up original puzzles
-More new areas
-Bring back most of the original unlockables
-Add new unlockables(including Ada and Sherry scenarios)
-New character costumes(Elza Walker skin as an easter egg)
-Bring back Alyson Court as Claire Redfield
Pretty much like that...

Nothing much as long they stay loyal to the first game maybe rework a couple of puzzles,the enviorement aswell specially the sounds i love how you can heard people fighting around the radio/police station in UC hunk scenario
what i would really like is to get updated versions of the original extra costumes specially the biker ones for both claire and leon (and not the lame ones from DC)
maybe a arranged mode with third person camera and re4 melee system? =P

•Both fixed cam and 3rd person cam modes.
•Smooth, stutter free mouse movement.
•Unlimited Framerate.
•Leon and Claire A/B campaign.
•Ada campaign.
•Cloth physics like seen on Fifa games.
•Rapid fire (but aim should get worse during rapid fire)
•Scary atmosphere.

I'm really hoping that they'll stay mostly faithful to the original BH2, but to be perfectly honest there is one change I'd like them to make: Both characters can use every weapon.
The unisex access thing for some of the weapons in the original really ticked me off.

Agree with mechanicalpaladin it would be, as playing with the same char... So best thing would be - it stays as it is and looks good (in uber ultra HD graphics).

i just want to ask you to retelling your ideas , opinions , fantasies and your ideals again
i read the all of your post in old thread and those were very good
(more than 99 percent of that thread was ideas so this thread should became atleast 20 pages)
so please tell your ideals (your perfect ideas) again
i told you before re7, if you let them make what ever which they thinking about, it going to became a disaster
(exactly as same as what happened to re7 )
if you just ignore this thread we going to loose our lovely franchise for ever
maybe you think they don't care at all to our wishes, but it's not logical, indeed that's a big mistake for a big company
so pleeeaase don't ignore your beautiful ideas and save our franchise
challenge between re7 and re2
just if re2 remake gonna get more sale we can take our favorite franchise back into the origins
but if re7 going to win this challenge we must say goodby to origins and modding
and i don't think that going to happening without adding
a new way ,a way for Passing through the city (an alternative way),
adding a new scenario with new characters , new stuff , atleast 8 costume for each character (just like re3) and more weapons
3 camera (classic , an adjustable over shoulder and a fps for fps fans)
i care about this franchise because i think it can be a good connection between generations (A common interest)
and it have been
but i guess a simple remake can't make that happening

What is like to see is it being made like RE and RE0 and maybe a camera option to change it between the classic camera and the re4 camera
If the inventory is easy to access would be a good bonus like in re5
A little mini map on the top right of the screen
DSC voice actors
DSC models (since they are younger and if they use re6 Leon and rev2 Claire it would just be terrible since there older in these games
They are most likely to use the re4 HD Leon rpd model and the rev2 Claire classic model (hopefully not the heads)
I'd love to see either resident evil HD animations or re5 animations

You want to ruin the original survival horror experience with action gameplay?
