It is a little frustrating that Claire and Leon in their scenarios completely repeat each other’s path. I thought there would be more variety.

Ah sadness... RE6's weakest add on returns a.k.a the blocky versions of the classic characters (had wanted high poly/ high resolution versions of these when RE6 was released) and for some reason Capcom likes this form of nostalgia. A weird thing about this is if you increased the original models resolution, they are no where near as blocky as these versions; another note Claire and Leon's block classic models seem to exclusive for PSN Japan (at least for now).
Perhaps using the original cinematic models from the classic re2 would have changed my mind on this... still would love to see 1 to 1 high resolution updated classic character costumes... despite this RE2 is looking like it will still be great addition (I really liked the one shot demo, despite the time limit mistake) and looking forward to Friday.

I’m so happy they added these costumes in! If Capcom didn’t do it, I would have 100%! I love them!

I really want to know if they are planning or already have added into the game, the other variations of the characters costumes(The Darkside Chronicles, CVX, RE4, RE6 )... also perhaps Claire and Leon's Degeneration costumes..

{A&B Scenarios(?) & Cutscene Spoilers (varying from the intro and reaching the RPD, and a little inside and some locations and where to find stuff.} You, and anyone else who wants final confirmation of A&B scenarios, should take a look at this video to answer this one and for all. It's not English though, the video and commentator aren't. The game and subs are english.
All I need personally is Claire's Darkside Chronicles RE2 outfit personally. (And her Degeneration costume would be a VERY welcome bonus!)
It'll be fun to see Leon's RE4 suits and stuff too, but I won't hold my breath either for this. I find Claire's DC RE2 outfit making an appearance more than anything though since REREV2 has it, so it feels a little more safe to hope for that and hold in a bit of a breath for it.

How many versions of RE2 are there?
On steam I can see only one named "RESIDENT EVIL 2 / BIOHAZARD RE:2"
This is the normal uncensored version, right? I don't wanna buy some toned down shit. I need the gore.

if Elliot got torn in half and the face of the officer in the old licker hallway was torn then you are getting the uncensored version

Hopefully someone finds a way to fix the black levels without the help of Reshade. Reshade causes enough performance hit to drop my framerate below 60 almost everywhere. Currently the only way to make the game look decent is by setting the color mode to REC 709 and even then the blacks look bit washed out and if you try to make it darker, then the whole image becomes too dark. In the trailers the black levels were completely fine.
Looks like the contrast & black level issue is present in the final game too. I don't think Capcom will be able to fix it now.
