Yea I think Capcom actually did a good job at nailing their appearance age wise, we have to remember that Leon is 21 during this and Claire 19, they are still VERY young during all of this which is probably why Capcom made the extra effort in making them actually look younger, to be honest my only gripe with Claire is that they decided to change her clothing, I'm fine with her face for reasons listed above but I dislike that they got rid of her signature outfit for this game and yet Leon got to keep his, all I know is Ada BETTER have a red freaken dress in this lol.

All the characters looks amazing. I love they design and the "new" outfits. {Custom Spoiler}Be understandable and accept that not everything is as you expect it to be.

Well, at first impressions - this looks amazing. The atmosphere and the environment look really scary and creepy. Although, I expected more RE2make close to the firs part concept and view, but here, we got like a CGI movie more than the game. It's still difficult for me to switch how far they have stepped to realism and modernity, therefore, some things are still difficult to accept and they seem to weird for me. About the characters redesign, I think I'm okay with Claire, at least in the trailer. It seems that she was close to the REDC ingame model. It's hard to say something about new VA, because I heard too little. Thing, I don't like it's the update of clothes for her. Where is her legendary jeans jacket and brother knife on her shoulder? At first glance, I initially thought that she got Zoe's style from Left 4 Dead. 
Leon? Well, I never cared about him too much, but it seems he does not look so bad. His new VA seems to be coping the same way.
If we talk about the poster, I also do not feel them as characters there, more like amateur cosplay from students or too sugary special models. Looks awful!

Right now I'm just hoping that we'll see more extended gameplay trailer tho, to see how the 1st impressions of the game, but not to spoil everything ofc.
And tbh i dont think that the game will be 100% OTS, maybe there will be some sections of the game where we'll face the classic camera to increase the tense atmosphere? Idk
But at least, the conclusion now is the trailer looks amazing, the character design looks decent age-wise and for being a "more updated version" based from the original design back in the original game. They look damn fine ingame facial animation-wise, and the gore looks fantastic too.
The voice actors of Leon sounds OK, i can still hear Paul Haddad-ish voice, kinda like a higher pitched version of Matt Mercer.
And for Claire's VA, i think it's enough, but could be better, but let's just wait until further previews cuz she didnt say much in the trailer lol
The only thing that bugs me is, the poster and Claire's jacket. I know, it looks "updated" and somehow more "fashionable" if compared to nowadays fashion jacket, but I don't think it suits 1998 lol
Deep down I still wish they'll include her original but updated jacket.
Short version, trailer is dope while the poster kinda weird :v

I hope the offical gameplay footage later happens to show the inventory. Although I doubt this will happen but how badass would it be to bring back Re4's inventory system for this game? It would be like fan service ontop of fan service

i can't understand that what is wrong with the original models which they already have? personally it was impossible for me if someone was showing me these models and asking me for recognizing them without the title just a ponytail and a red wear is gonna make everyone claire?! or just that ultra iconic hair style will be enough to make everyone leon! please capcom
for God sakejust use the original models of re:dc's cutscens or at least put them into the game as bonus or as a dlc -------------------------- my scores to this trailer atmosphere 8/10design of locations 8/10zombies 8/10characters: leon -10/10 (as leon but 10/10 as a new character)claire -10/10 (same as leon , just personal opinion )sherry 9/10ada not sure yet, so i wanna be hopeful and positive to give it a 9/10( 10/10 for old original models of leon and claire (re:dc)) The sad truth is that Art is dead. Big companys like Capcom will "from now on" always just randomly cast cheap available actresses/actors and scan them 1 to 1 into their games without any artistic vision or craft behind it. Canon is long gone and things like loyality have the fewest people, they just dont care. These people wouldnt even mind if their own mother would be replaced with a random actress, so dont expect any of the current generation to have any loyality. Changing an established charakters face is an immerson execution and i dont accept it. Photogrammetrie is the biggest "pizza pasta" "video games" ever created. Killing Artist and replace them with "pizza pasta". Why even bother, puting some cheap particle effect above it and all the amateurs are convinced. I had seen enough of that "pizza pasta" at university. Edit i censored my rage with "pizza pasta". just because  are the! right my dear Akeinui wish that they are just kidding , otherwise i guess the heritage of redfields and their generation is destroyed now and forever! poor and miserable redfields! i hope just someone ask them why?! why capcom why?!while you already have the nice amazing models of characters , what is the point of wasting time and budget for nothing especially when you are not capable to name the differences between an apple and an orange! maybe just their hairs (redc models) were not good enough for these days but that's all and not necessary to redesign them just fix the hair to fits the game i knew that new toy (3dscan) in capcom's hands will be a horrible news for the franchise R.I.P redfields

I'm actually surprised by this. It tries a bit to hard to be dark and serious for my taste, but it could be far worse. Leon is pretty spot on. With Claire, however, from the one shot she's in her voice sounds bored and and monotone, considering the context of the scene(if this is how the scene goes that is). Her having an expressionless face doesn't help either. And she's supposed to be the most empathetic character. It's like Revelations 2 all over again, brrr. Anyway call me intrigued.

seda There are two answers for that. 1 they dont care and 2 they save alot of money. Since PS2 generation technic was advanced enough that skilled artsit could sculpt the exact same face again and again and could easily sculpting realistically different ages. but now all human animations are motion captured and you save money if you dont have to polish motion capture data to much, so its cheap if the faces are as close as possible to the motion capture. They just scan people and make the capture with them, so they have to put no effort into this and dont need any artists. For all you say Claire looks like a young Claire, you have no face recognition or anatomical knowledge. dont give me the pizza pasta that a skull change when aging, it does not. Spacing between eyes, nose, mouth, chin dont change, the shape of eyes, eyebrows, ears, chin, cheek bones and so on dosnt change either. Most people from their age 18 to 25 years look almost exctly identical. its not that you really change to much in your early 20s and later you get wrinkles, lose or gain fat on the face, skin is sagging, but your facial features never change! unless you had a really bad accident. So NOPE! that Claire has not a single facial feature from any past faces of claire, its the same pizza pasta they always do! just a complete new actor who plays as a Claire. If you think they match each other, than you just make it clear that you have no clue what you are talking about.

If you think they match each other, than you just make it clear that you have no clue what you are talking about. Disagree about Claire. Yes, she is far from 100% reiteration of any models, but there still are present things that can remind, even if it is far from reality. For example, the Darkside Chronicles game model. It may be not perfect, but in any case she keeps a better look than Chris did from RE7. Could he edit the model after scanning to be closer - yes. Could they find a real person who would be more like - yes. But we have what we have and I would not say that she looks very bad at all!
