All of the tools on this page should work for both Resident Evil 8 and Monster Hunter Rise. The chain template, RSZ template and Noesis plugin have been updated for Sunbreak and RE2/3/7 Ray Tracing, the others are not yet.
The Noesis MESH Plugin has been updated, with full support for importing and exporting Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak meshes and textures!
*Update: Monster Hunter Rise PC, Resident Evil 2, 3 & 7 Ray Tracing Updates:
The Noesis plugin is available [Download Here] which supports RE8 and Monster Hunter Rise PC and allows for exporting of models with new submeshes / materials using the -rewrite advanced option. Use version 2.6 for support of original RE7 meshes.
BLENDER USERS: Be sure to try this special FBX importer to fix any issues Blender's default FBX importer is likely to create with the root bone. Check out NSA Cloud's Blender Wrapper, which seamlessly controls the plugin from Blender like REEM Noesis CMD does from 3dsmax.
In addition, the Noesis Maxscript REEM_Noesis_CMD.ms is updated to control it. See the main Noesis plugin thread and the REEM Noesis CMD thread for more details on how to use both of these tools.
To extract files from Resident Evil 8 demo, you will need a file list to use with RETool. You can download the file list and RETool from FluffyQuack's thread (and also get the WIP version here)
*To extract Files from the MHRise demo, you can use this file list:
MH_Rise_demo_list
Tools for Modding RE Engine files:
-Editing of most general game files in RE8 and MHRise can be done using the RSZ template.
-RE Framework is also an excellent tool for exploring how the games work, and comes with some great mods like FreeCam and an extensive Lua scripting system.
-Check out my REFramework scripts which include an interactive Lua Console that can access your global script variables, useful for script development. Also extensive control panels and menus for exploring managed objects, capable of live chain/material editing as well as loading resources, animations, FSM actions and more/
-Fluffy Mod Manager Allows you to install mods (new WIP version here)
-You can use Silvris's MDF Manager or the MDF template for 010 Editor to investigate RE8 and MHRise MDFs, swapping textures and adjusting material parameters. MDF Manager combined with the Noesis plugin will allow you to create new submeshes with your own materials on them.
-You can edit details of RE8 and MHRise meshes using the latest MESH Template
-The Motlist Template is able to view and swap RE8 and MHRise animations and edit the CLIP data controlling the many things that activate during animations.
-Revilmax and the Motlist Tool can import and export animations from every RE Engine game, although for MHRise you will need to use a special version of Revilmax for 3dsmax 2017 attached to the motlist tool thread.
-You can use the Chain template to edit physics files (Sunbreak version) and convert between different chain versions in different games
-GPUC.62 cloth physics files can be edited with the GPUC Template
-clip.40, tml.40001 and ucurve files can be opened with the TML template
-GUI graphical user interface files can be edited with the GUI template
-fbxskel files can be edited with the fbxskel tool and template
All of these templates and tools should work for all the games made in RE Engine.
NOTE: For all of my templates, I recommend using 010 Editor v10 or v9, instead of v11 or v12. The later two versions cause a lot of unexpected crashes, both in the templates and with causing 010 to crash to desktop.

And what's more, the original RE Engine MESH Tool maxscript has been updated to support importing / exporting RE8 meshes as well! (Not compatible with MHRise vertex colors yet)
