Is it possible to bind the First Person Enable/Disable function to a mapped toggle key just like the flashlight? Pretty please?! That question should be directed at Praydog on Github. github.com/praydog/RE2-Mod-Framework Also, i would like this option.

Please update for latest patch. This is one of the most useful mod for the game. Game's no longer enjoyable with auto flashlight.

So there's no hope for your version to ever get updated? The framework version doesn't work along with 3dmigoto, and its vignette removal is the lazy hex edit, which means it messes up the lighting in certain parts of the game, the only way to have correct vignette removal and the flashlight keybind was with your original version and 3dmigoto.
And sadly, it's become indispensable for me, because the game is awful at deciding when the flashlight is necessary. Like in the sewers, there are many rooms that the game decides are lit, but they're so dark than enemies can hide very easily.

I was so confused on why it isnt working for me, and checked this thread again. turns out it doesnt work anymore huh. its too bad i didnt get to try this cool mod out. I wish this mod works again soon, i think its a nice option to have since sometimes i hate that leon/claire pulls out their flashlight when theyre in the dark and not before they get in dark places, since its common sense to use your flashlight before entering any dark area. *Edit* Okay i got it to work by downloading the new framework. Thank you! this is so good.

I downloaded the framework before and it worked before the game updated. Now I get a 'Failed to fine Vintage Pattern' any idea why? I do have reshade installed so that's my guess.
Edit: Nevermind I just fixed it.

This is exactly the kind of affinity for detail that I love about sites like these, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS MOD it was very needed. do you know if you or anyone could come up with a MOD that would make all crosshairs into a small greyish dot instead of being forced to have these massive goofy looking crosshairs? PLEASE DO THIS?.. if not would you happen to know where I could attempt to request this?

I could not get the MOD to work..downloaded the latest framework but it conflicts with the vignette removal, both are essential, I dont know what to do.
EDIT: nevermind after exploring the little drop down menu i saw the option to remove the vignette from within your MOD rendering any outside MOD to remove the vignette obsolete, very well done this is SOOOOO GOOD, i can now linger in the darkness and move in silence instead of flashing my unbearably bright light disturbing the atmosphere and really pissing everyone off in the room.
by far the most useful MOD out there so far now that both are combined

The vignette removal option in the framework causes severe lighting issues with volumetric lighting and skybox. And without 3dmigoto 21:9 and 32:9 can't be fixed either. We need to find a way to load both the framework and 3dmigoto at the same time since both are very necessary.

By the way, has any new feature been added to RE2Framework? So far I have first person, manual flashlight and free cam.

That month-long ban seemed like a really unnecessary reaction after I tried to excuse myself, but whatever. It's still a neat mod, and I'm sure it took a lot of hard work to get it up and running.
