Yeah for some reason I only see blonde:  Original Resident Evil 2 Leon:  RE Darkside Chronicles Leon:  RE 2 CGI cutscene leon:  Definitly not the same color as RE 2 Remake Leon. Definitely not yellowish hair. Maybe it's the lighting. Are you possibly colorblind? (Not to be rude) I mean his hair might be a little lighter but its probably just the lighting. I could ask you the exact same thing (Not to be rude). And if I was color blind, I wouldn't be able to differentiate the hair color for Remake Leon and old Leon to begin with. After seeing the gameplay videos and trailer, its clear that it's not just the lighting that's making his hair yellowish. His hair color looks just like RE4 but with darker shades. Let me rephrase, RE2 Leon had a brown hair that looked close to red instead of yellow. The one on the Remake looks more like dark yellow-brown. So is it really me who's color blind?

I like what i see so far, they definitely aren't scrimping on the gore this time, not sure what to make of Claire's redesign though.
My biggest concern, as I have said previously, is them remaining fateful to the original gameplay.
However, if they are going to include an optional third person camera as the rumors say they will, I'm down.

They only had to fix Claire's clothes. And her hairstyle. Her face is better than the one we had on RE Rev 2.

Okay saw the gameplay and I have to say the gore is on point, the details etc looked great. Oh btw, about Claire's face, at least it still has the resemblance like what Night Furious said. He is correct. But judging all of us would accept PewDiePie to cast Leon is stupid, totally stupid. Also terribly unnecessary. Yes, Claire's face is different , fact, but it is still Claire to me. Same as comparing ReMake Jill to RE5 Jill. They look different, but retained some facial bone structure to the face, but IT IS STILL JILL. And most ppl recognizes her. Fact. Period Also saying that we'd accept every girl with brown hair and blue eyes to be Claire is totally out of sense, so knock that kind of language off this thread please, just my opinion tho. Also sure, we're all not artists but I AM A TRADITIONAL ART ARTIST and I understand facial features much in charcoal/pencil drawings since I've been doing it for a long time. Are you kidding me? ReMake Jill and RE 5 Jill are both Julia Voth!!! of course they look alike. At least they change her face a little, and dont made a 1 to 1 port and it was sculpted from artists, with references, instead just to scan her face. All Claires are complete different people, they share nothing!!! Fact. And you would accept pewdiepie as leon, if he would be a unknown actor and not a well known youtube personality, because he looks as much as leon as this new leon actor, or the new claire actor to all claires before. Every 20th women here in germany looks for people like you than like Claire, thats why you have no loyality, you dont care. You dont need a base, i am modeling realistic faces from scratch, and there are people with more experienced who are even way better than me......(for now). You dont need a base, or do you think realistic human portraits needed Photogrammetrie. Like Da vinci needed this Pizza pasta for his paintings. They just going the cheap way. Look what kojimas team did, they used 1 to 1 actors, but they made an old woman 20 Years younger and they did a great job on that. So dont give me such lame excuses. They could made a realistic Claire and Leon and they choosed to dont give a shit. .....because so less people care, why should we even cast the same actors for movies and series. Lets just let jennifer lawrence play Daenerys in the last season of GoT. Why even bother. They look as much like each other than all those Claires do.... oh and both could play Claire Redfield in a life action Movie! They look as much as Claire Redfield as this current Claire actress. Nah I know they are both Julia Voth. But i don't think claire had a "base" person used to be the face model. Thats why it's a little hard to create consistent changes of her into the game. I guess that's why I think the inconsistency were visible in her face development. Actually, the only thing that bugged me was her drastical face change in REV2. Other than that, she looks completely consistent in previous games, at least in my eyes. Also, this Claire in RE2 Remake still resembles Claire from DC. The only thing that made her look alot different was her cheek structure and how her hair bangs were designed (it look way shorter, and parted wider, so creates an illusion that made her face look wider). But I have to agree that in the poster she looked ugly. Other than that, ingame she looked pretty decent. And it's up to you to take the decision to buy or not to buy the game, I don't care actually. At least, as an traditional art artist I was raised to respect people even if they were disrespectful to me.. For my actions represents my well being and the other's actions say enough about them.

SAMIActually he has a brown hair in this game. The lighting made it look yellow-ish. Different with RE6 Leon, the base texture for his hair was brown but the MM texture (specular one) were designed a lot brighter so it may look shiny-blonde ingame.

I think they went towards a yellowish approach with brown hair instead of red because thats the way he looks in re4 and re6. It would only make sense. I watched the demo and haven't heard any familiar soundtracks (the new music is pretty good though). But there is a (paid?) DLC that swap to the 'Original Ver.' Soundtrack.

Does anyone know if they're recreating the music from the original game ?? The original has such a great soundtrack ! I hope they've not fucked with it. There is an option with the digital deluxe edition to swap out the new music with the original music. Regardless of messing up the music, you can always switch to the original if you want.

...but only if you pay more, why is this acceptable? They know people want the game to be resident evil, and the music is essential... seriously wrong of them. As I watched the two trailers, and then various gameplay I realized that it contained no music... was wondering why and it turns out they want to sell it as a extra... hoping this is the only off putting thing they do with this game, but only time will tell.
That said, the game does look promising... is there any more footage related to Claire? gameplay or character screenshots... other then the two trailers?

Ridiculous how games do not even come complete anymore. Always having to pay extra to add something which should already be included in the base game.
DLC should be about additional content that is separate from the main game, not taking content from the main game and releasing that as DLC.

agree, hoping that the new musical score, if it has one (not enough info for us to know yet...)it will smoothy include re2 themes or a awesome rescore of the original music; would have been awesome if the default was both... also really hoping they include alternate new updated versions of every key character as they looked in re2 classic,darkside chronicles, and even alternates costumes from the cgi films and of course other games they where featured in, if they did that it would be amazing.
