Ridiculous how games do not even come complete anymore. Always having to pay extra to add something which should already be included in the base game. DLC should be about additional content that is separate from the main game, not taking content from the main game and releasing that as DLC. I will add DLCs to my future mods too. Come on, everyone! Let's do the same. XD

Excuse me, just coming through to get this thread onto my Participated list notifications.
Meanwhile, I've never tried Resident Evil 2 and have barely played anything Pre-RE4, but luckily this Remake is on the way, and I love EVERYTHING about it so far, and I feel more encouraged to play Resident Evil (Remastered), then maybe the classic RE2 (May want help being pointed in the best way to play this), and finally RE3 now, and can't wait to finally be able to say I'm FULLY on board for the nostalgic hype trains, but then again for all I know, they could be doing a RE3 Remake someday too! ^^

It's looks promising, I can't wait to see more news on this game... I think my main gripe is three things...
1)That they are not going to use the previous voice actors, when they actually had contacted them to work on the project, but then quietly opted not to.
2)They keep altering Claire's look dramatically... seems they where a fan of her Code Veronica outfit and keep retooling her look based on that.
(wondering if the pendant on her new necklace is a dragonfly wing?)
3)The Original Soundtrack for the game being a addition purchase... Other than those things, So far I like the overall look of the game from the trailers and the limited game play we have seen at e3, and I am hoping they really work on the game with drive and focus of the original remake team.
edit: heard from others that the game will have no multi-player, so no mercenaries if true...  |

I seriously did want to make a comment on what I thought about this because this remake means a lot to me too, and I haven't even played the original yet. Basically? I still wanted to be involved in the discussion. It was just a matter of how to speak up. Social Anxiety INTENSIFIES

somehow this new model of claire is reminding me the skyrim but i can't remember why? i think a mod by someone was looking like this

They need better CGI editors because Claire and leon look fine, amazing even, in-game, but in promo art? Why.

It could be a business strategy. They make the promo art not as good than people will have low expectations. When the person buys the game and plays it, their gonna like it more because it looks better than the promo art. Or just ignore everything I said and lets just go with bad CGI editors. I tried making a somewhat good explanation.

Hahaha, no problem! And posting in the thread is also a way to get notifications... So, if you want to, that's fine. :3 I played the original at least 5 times (finishing the game every time), and DAMN I'm so hyped for this remake! I can't wait.

This is not the first time that their poster or art looks weird and far away from what is in the game. Remember Claire's poster from Mercenaries 3D, when she had an "Asian look" and many talked about this, after which they had to fix and update the render on the site.
Or Claire's render from Revelations 2, who also received corrections, after everyone began to compare it with the meme of a disgruntled cat
