Darknessvaltier Yes I've done that. I will refer to this thread: residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/6260/weapon-mod?page=1&scrollTo=64971And in these images so you can see the progress I went through. imgur.com/a/SSjdg I'm thinking it a saving problem. I noticed in your video that your character had different UVs, so I kind of figured that this wouldn't be the problem. Any chance you know step by step how to save this with the Nvidia plugin. I followed your video to the letter. :> But I think it is one of these hidden settings that turn my maps black and blue. (I've checked on that it needs to be a colour map, but I still get a blue output. Is there another setting that I need to adjust?) These are the Nvidia dds plugin options that I have: i.imgur.com/PMhBrkJ.jpg textures is BM save as dxt1, MM dxt1 and NM dxt5 you have some pic showing the error?

In game image of the problem: i.imgur.com/r81asrI.jpgIn photoshop what I think could make the textures blue: i.imgur.com/y1FpZLx.jpgSo what I think is happening here, is either the UVs are the problem, or the saved file is. So I'm going to go over some other saving options. Maybe that'll fix things. Darknessvaltier you using the latest arctool and bat file? old times i got this error because the arctool problem

Darknessvaltier So I check out what my mod looks like if I open it again with the 3dsmax after I packed it with the 3dsmax script. I'll show you in the following images. Before I used the 3dsmax script to export my mod --> i.imgur.com/RvvwgCY.jpgAfter I used the 3dsmax script to export my mod --> i.imgur.com/6Va6YFP.jpgThe UVs become distorted for some reason when I've used the 3dsmax script. Is this normal? I've applied the, UVwrap, the skin wrap, and the bones. All of that happened like in your video. But the 3dsmax script somehow messes up my UVs.... I am using this 3dsmax script to import and export my mods --> "RE5 (unoffical)-v0-31e" WAAAAAAAITTT!!!!!!!!! u using 3ds max 2014? haha this is the problem, the script just work with 3ds max 2012

When exporting a 3dsMax file, the smoothing groups of the normals are not preserved. Do you know of a way to preserve that information in a .3ds file extention? (Something that wouldn't require me to apply an "edit normal" modifier again to fix all the normals?) Darknessvaltier 3ds file dont store the normals, you need apply it under the skin modifier before you export it
