If you look at the English Game2Resource_e.arc it is FAR smaller (32K B) then the all the other Game2Resource_x.arc files (968-998KB) because for English it still uses the old one for ingame buttons. I will fix this asap and re-release my mods for ALL languages. Which version of my mod are you playing with and I'll do yours first? That's what I thought I use the PS3 version layout ^^

I have updated all 3 steam versions of my download for all languages.

Hey, how did you manage to convert tex files required for gold edition button mod? Latest arctool gives me "unrecognized DDS format 21".

Hey, how did you manage to convert tex files required for gold edition button mod? Latest arctool gives me "unrecognized DDS format 21". I used an older Arctool LONG before RE5 Gold released.

I can get the dds files converted now but they are not readable by any editing software. Something special I need to do while using this tool?

You need to use the tool with the older GFWL version I think.
I had a brain injury last year so this is about the extent of what I remember about modding RE5 so you will likely need someone elses help to create your mod.

I've found bugs for the RE5 PS3 Buttons Mod (Steam Version) Swing Knife must be L1+R2 , it's ingame L2+R1 Fire/Throw must be L2+R2 , it's ingame L1+R1 Reload must be L2+X , it's ingame L1+X Map must be R1 , it's ingame R2 Loacate Partner must be R2 , it's ingame R1
Hope this can be Fixed, if Dark Samus have time for it Would be nice.

i have a teeny problem with the back buttons R1,R2,L1,L2 this is because i use control type D, when the prompt for dodge with L1 + R1 i have to press R2 + L2 because of my control type but it doesn't bother me i just wanted to say this because it use to. but i'm glad you have done this PS3 button thanks.

doesn't display triggers properly in the menu. My aiming and shooting is L2+R2 but the game says it's L1/R1.
