Obviously we aren't supposed to see this since this area only opens up for that part. But it's good to see Capcom already left the mine here beforehand lol

some guy was making a level editor for re2 remake, re2 and re3 have the same engine This looks promising. Maybe this can be used to help. here's another one for item placement. Can anyone contact this guy?

I really hope we get enemies and items in those new open areas ASAP from someone. Even in the few early uptown areas before the helicopter scene.

yeah me too. would be great to utilize those extra areas with enemies and item pick ups to help extend gameplay and not wasting those areas by putting them to good use

Is it possible to open up the area before the Clock Tower? There's plenty of area there that looks fully modeled

You can swap items and it could be done theoretically at the moment. There's info on how to mod the currently placed items(not add more, not remove, not spawn, just swap what already exists). So someone could plot out the key items to help achieve this. I haven't tested changing key items, but I have thought about how to include backtracking via this mod and the idea I thought of was (if possible), remove the chains from the door near the bolt cutters and remove the bolt cutters and move them to where kendo's gate is. This would make it optional. Or move the lockpick into the general goods store (the one that needs the bolt cutters).
However even if I did this Nemesis isn't spawned yet so it's kind of pointless. Until I figure out how to trigger his spawn earlier than the power station, I'm not interested in doing other things.

Nah i was just thinking of something simple like swap the ammo bullets on the subway station with the gate key. Removing the locks and chains on doors are extremely difficult for this game. I was looking for door mods on how to edit logic on doors and there was none. So my best bet is just swapping hand gun rounds with the gate key. Is it even possible to swap ammo with key items?
