Hey guys! i was requested to make this port a few months ago, then i saw that i had a lot of assets that i could re-use for this. He's a very basic model port, and you can always swap, reskin, mod over him, whatever your wanna do with this boy. Here are some caps!
Those mods replace all his slots, excluding the armored versions since this mod isn't aimed for the story mode, you can still use him, but i will bet be supporting it since the cutscene modding is very complex and it will take days for me to fix him completely there xD also, both Chris (asia/edonia) have their corresponding unique texture path, so you should be able to use both versions in different slots side by side in the same match without any bugs.
I would love to see any advice and/or issues that you found with this mod! it was made in under 1 hour, so i probably missed a lot of stuff, point out the bugs under here and i'll gladly fix them ASAP! Thanks for reading! all the way down here!

PS/ With your experience, you can rewrite the story with the support of the cutscenes. What if Chris and Jill (instead of Sheva) are teammates and they saves Rebecca (the Zero battlesuit will be suitable for this, so that she will take Jill's place and be under the control of Wesker). Alex Wesker instead of Excella. Barry finds Rebecca (instead of Josh) and they go to help Chris and Jill. The ideal reunion of all members of the STARS squad. I know this is too much to dream about and need a lot of hard work, but it would be interesting to go this way and replay the game completely again. LOL Never mind, I get carried away!
Night Furious, that's the issue with re-using the facial rig from other games, the small amount of bones that re6 have on the face makes them like that, i remember an attempt of porting sherry's asia and europe with the rigging from re6 intact, but it just didn't worked, the jaw specifically and the lips are organized into a completely different order and even tough i can give the organization that re5 uses (kinda) it still looks horribly deformed, specially in male characters, the only fix for that is to make the rigging completely manual, whivh i'll do once i get some free time tnx for the report!
Hey guys! i just updated the mod, still not completed, but it's getting closer. Here's the changelog:
-Added the correct uv's for the eyelashes and eyeshadows.
-Re-rigged the face completely to avoid most of the facial issues.
-Edited the normals and hair uv's to make the hair layers a bit smoother.

it's funny how the normal sized hands from re6 can work incredibly good with the tremendous proportions that capcom gave chris in re5, this allows me to port more male characters over chris, i seriously wasn't expecting this when i started this mod, i was hoping for another leftover lol

I just added the final update for Chris Asia, he now replaces all the slots for chris excluding the armored ones, also i added some fixes on hisfacials and i edited the teeths normals, for some reason the were too smooth and as result there was a grey texture all over them. also i edited the hair uv's, they were taking the textures from the wrong coords, as result it had bald spots being simulated by the facial texture but not good enough, now all is fixed it seems.

Technically, there is no 4K textures. I mean, you have one canvas with this resolution that contains all the textures, but if you separate them, the maximum resolution some of them will be 2K. Anyway, it's better than before.

Btw, he even works well for cutscenes with the original head (If you don't take into account that his part of the neck is sometimes shown through clothing). That's cool.
damn, he looks really good with the cutscene render, those diffuse, specular and normal maps are really paying off.
I just wanted to let you know that i finished his edonia version, there shouldn't be huge issues since i re-used most of the stuff from his Asia version, Everything else comes straight from Capcom hehe.
So i guess this classifies this project as Completed!
