F00X Claire Pack (Redhead, Face, Jacket) 4K Update! V2.3

Introduction


Hello, hi!

I've been working on some ideas over the past few days and this is what came of it. I'm pretty happy with the results so in the interest of not being selfish, I decided to share it here in case anyone else is interested in my Claire.

First off, huge thanks to engemoui!
Without him, I'd never have gotten the hair right. And also for helping me optimize my workflow a lot! (The game updates textures in real time if you change them. Mind. Blown.) Claire's character folder also makes about as much sense as the French language. Sure, you get it at one point but everything is unnecessarily convoluted and complicated.

Also a big thanks to Crazy Potato and FluffyQuack for all the guides and tutorials in this forum.


This is a sistermod to F00X Leon.


So now on to the mod!






Contents

This mod changes our beloved Claire in a variety of ways. You can get the (Complete) pack or pick and choose what you want.


- Freckles on her face and chest (because freckles are the peak of aesthetics).
- Warm-red hair (with correct shine color).
- Green eyes (revamped)**
- Brown leather jacket (supports dirt build-up and shows on costume-select screen*).
- Minor touch-ups on her skin (included with freckles).


* costume-select screen is only packaged in the complete pack due to her having the complete pack look on that picture.
 
** I recreated the original (very vibrant) eyes from 1.0 (without bugs this time) for those of you that prefer them. Find them in the legacy folder in the download.

The jacket, tank top and face textures are now available in 4K! Thanks to edgarska, who figured out how to make the game use 4K textures. You can choose between the 4K and 2K versions in the download.

You'll figure it out*, just select whichever you want and mix-n-match. I recommend the complete pack if you like the look. It is compatible with other mods. Just don't install it with another mod that changes the same textures.

Also, it's for use with the Fluffy mod manager.

*"Face Made in Heaven" is everything concerning the head. So everything except the jacket.

Updates


V1.0

- Release version


V1.1 (Eyes)

- Updated eye textures. They caused bugs at odd angles. This is what happens when you forget to update Noesis (Oops).
- Lessened the vibrancy on the eyes. As mentioned by "andehx", they were a bit much.
- Updated the preview pictures in the thread. (Yes, I did take the screenshots again. I'm a perfectionist like that).
- Pictures in the mod folders remain untouched (I'm lazy like that).


V1.2 (Hair)

- Updated hair shine. It should no longer look grey in certain light conditions.
- Updated hair wet shine. The hair no longer looks like there was an oil spill when it gets wet. Darkening has been completely disabled for now. Expect it to be reactivated later on.
- Slight change in the hair color. It is now more on the orange side rather than red. Still a redfield redhead though (I initially intended it to be more orange-red rather than full-on red).
- Minor adjustments in the hair texture.


V1.2.1 (Jacket + Top)

- Bugfixes concerning the Jacket (namely the markerstroke).
- Fixed bracelet heart appearing like a black dot on the tank top costume.
- Adjusted dirt build-up consistency. Heavy dirt should now start at the first birkin boss.
- Minor quality-of-life improvements and touch-ups.


V2.0 (4K Textures)

- Remastered 4K textures for the jacket, tank top and face. Enjoy our beloved ginger in even more detail.
- Reduced the download size of the mod due to better compression. You people with bandwidth limits, I gotchu.


V2.0.1 (4K Textures)

- Recompiled and improved the 4K textures further. They are even better quality now (redownload and install the new version).
- Added comparison pictures for the 4K Textures.
- Visual improvements to all 4K textures.


V2.1 (4K Textures)

- Removed the very distracting seams on all dirt stages, which appeared due to the 4K update (Sorry!).
- Overhauled and touched up all dirt stages for more consistency.


V2.3 (UI)

- Added UI options for the "normal" costumes picture. This now allows for maximum immersion when using both F00X Leon and F00X Claire.
