I jumped around between different save points to test it out in different lighting and environments. Here're my findings: 1) The ugly grey shade it had before is definitely gone for good, the hair color is always there. [Excellent] 2) Hair doesn't lose it's color when it gets wet [Excellent] 3) Hair color now is much brighter [some will love it, some will hate it] 4) Ponytail color is a bit paler than the rest of the hair under most lighting, and it doesn't get wet under rain. 5) Ponytail has yellow\brown-ish parts that I'm not sure if they're there by design or not, but they were always there so it's not any change you did for 1.2 Here are some screenshots: My own opinion: I seriously love that you were able to remove that grey tint, I'm going to try and use the mdf file you edited with other hair textures and see the results. nvm i misunderstood how textures work I personally prefer a darker red hair color, and maybe in the future you can make an alternative version with that.
I'm happy you like it! As said I'll keep fiddling with it. Now that I begin to understand more thoroughly how the mdf file works, I'll see if I can work out some more quirks. (And get the rain darkening to work as intended). The ponytail strains weren't exactly intended but they kinda fell into place when I changed the value that pixelated the shine. So I had to choose between pixels or a bit of a hazy shine. I chose the shine for now. Thank you so much for helping out with testing the hair! I extend the same thanks to Zethras . You guys rock. I do hope you get some use out of the hair even if it's not your preferred color! I'll post when I have any updates. I'll first take a bit of a rest after this. In the meantime, have a meme! Yes the texture wraps poorly but it was just a quick joke I wanted to throw together leavemealone- Thanks again! Edit: Sorry for the double post. I tend to reply before I think.

So, I played with it a bit as well, and I have to say that I love it. I noticed a few of the points Maverick already pointed out as well, such as the ponytail looking a bit brighter than the head hair in a few lighting conditions and it lacking the rain effect, I think you can comeback to these later with a fresh mind whenever you want or feel like it, as they don't seem all that game-breaking, TBH. I, for one, liked the bright color. You managed to make it look good even in the dark and in the rain, something that most recolors of Claire's hair (at least the more bright ones) are failing to achieve. Her hair looks a bit shiny in very well lit areas, but I wouldn't consider it unnatural nor distracting, TBH, I have a few ginger friends with a very, very bright shade of orange, IMO, it looks perfect.
I like the color palette of the mod, I liked the hair, the eyes, the freckles. You did pretty good! I look forward for your new mods, I feel like you'd excel on recoloring the characters and textures quite a bit, few modders here have a good eye for colors and shades, and I think you're one them!

I added a legacy folder in the mega download. If you prefer to use the original 1.0 hair, you can download it there

I absolutely love this one! Really appreciate all the detail put into it, and the fact that it actually shows up in costume select! I do wish there was a clean version of Tank Top, though.

Thank you for the update, this is easily my favorite reskin mod for this game, can't even go back to regular textures anymore.
I too would really love a clean tank top model, i tried doing it myself via texture swapping and succeeded in giving her clean pants and head but there are no in-game textures for clean tank top.

I'll note it down and look into making it (no promises though!). First I have to complete the new weekly challenges (currently jumping on every excuse to keep playing the game). As for your first request biohazardgamer , I'd much prefer to stick to Claire right now so I don't think I'll get into modding Leon, sorry! I've always had the mindset of focusing intensely on one niche that interests me and doing the best I can in it. Maybe that's just me being weird . But the clean tank top is definitely a possibility! Fun fact of the day: You can beat Mr. X into submission only using a knife. Learn his attack patterns and dodge-counter. Aim for the head. Try it! It's incredibly fun. No more running around the library to lose him.

The green eyes are not working for me for some reason the brown jacket, red hair and freckles are working just fine though. I don't know what's causing this. I even managed to make Claire blonde somehow lol just like you mentioned in a previous post and I was coincidentally looking for a mod that could make her blonde. Everything looks great btw, I loved it, I just wish I could see her green eyes *EDIT (02/26/2019): There was nothing wrong with the mod. I was just having a hard time telling the difference between Claire's default eyes and her Green Eyes.

First I tried using just the Green Eyes mod found in the Singular Mods folder, because I wanted to combine your mod with CrazyPotato's White Heaven Mod. I used Fluffy ModManager to install it just like I do with every other mod. I loaded my save file and noticed her eyes were default. I then uninstalled the mod and proceeded to download and install the Complete Pack. It succesfully installed the red hair, brown jacket and freckles without any issues, but unfortunately still no Green Eyes. I also tried different combinations such as Freckles + Green Eyes and Face Made in Heaven (Red Hair + Freckles + Green Eyes), but had the same outcome, everything except the Green Eyes are properly installed. I thought there was something wrong with my color configuration, so I tried bumping up the colors using ReShade (Vibrance effect) and still no Green Eyes. (Or maybe they are there and I have to mess around with the colors a bit more, that's a possibility) Nobody else seems to be having an issue with this mod, so I think it's safe to conclude that it's definitely something on my end. I might have to reinstall the game or something. My best guess is that some mod that I had installed previously is somehow conflicting with this one, I did use the "Claire-ish Face Model" found on Nexus Mods, and Code Veronica Biker mod found here, both of them make some changes to Claire's face, I did uninstall these mods before installing yours, but still... Maybe that's what's causing this issue, but I'm not sure. *EDIT: Actually, having a closer look at the screenshots it seems the freckles didn't work either But it's okay, I'll see if I can figure something out. *EDIT #2 (02/26/2019): The mod works just fine, after comparing several screenshots I was finally able to distinguish the two. Thanks to F00X for helping me. Here are some screenshots anyway: {Green Eyes Only - Default Colors} {No Green Eyes installed - Default Colors}
{Green Eyes Only with Vibrance effect}
{Complete Pack - Default Colors} Although I took the screenshot when she was blonde, I can confirm that the Red Hair did work properly when I managed to get it installed. I don't have a screenshot with Complete Pack + Vibrance at the moment

MaVeRicK biohazardgamer I just realized that I hate having things in my backlog so.... You can download the clean tank top here
I did my best but I can't completely clean her up without texture seams becoming a big problem. Her chest connecting to her neck is a bit of an iffy area in particular and might look a bit off. It'll overwrite files from the brown leather jacket so if you uninstall it, you also have to reinstall the jacket/complete pack again. I could fix the seams (in theory) if I could export the model and texture to blender. In all honestly I've never done such a thing before and am not really sure if it's even possible yet with this game's models. It comes with freckles (since I used that texture to clean her face up). You can install the hair and green eyes with it. It's far from my best work and I would recommend to just install it, have a bit of fun with it and then uninstall it. Unless of course you love it lol. {Screenshots} Anyways, that's it from me! Back to giving it to X.
