Actually, I've been fully encouraged to go through with this. What's the best way to play Resident Evil 1-3?
(So far, I'm seeing the steam version of Resident Evil of course, I'm trying really hard to figure out Resident Evil 2 right now, but signs point to either Gamecube(Dolphin) or The ENG translated PC SourceNext version, and Resident Evil 3 is completely unknown for me right now.)
Definitely should play the remaster of Resident Evil 1, the original was great but the remaster took everything that was good about the original and made it MUCH better so go with that one.
Regarding Resident Evil 2, I'd say if you have some good hardware on your pc you should play it using the Ishiruka Dolphin emulator with all the settings including xbrz maxed alongside this mod here for high quality textures,
This is what I currently do and it looks GORGEOUS, if your PC is not high end however than the sourcenet version for PC would be the best IMO since the PS1 version has jaggy polymodels that can be a bit of a eyesore.
And lastly Resident Evil 3 like Resident Evil 2 has the problem of jaggy polygons for the 3D models on the PS1 so I would say Ishiruka dolphin is the best while the Dreamcast NullDC is a close second since it actually has extra content such as a costume selection unlocked at the start of the game with new costumes featured that where not in other versions.
But this is all coming from a wanting the best graphically quality for the experience which I enjoy these days, if graphical quality is not much of a issue than you can simply just stick to the PS1 version for all 3 of them.

i can't understand that what is wrong with the original models which they already have? personally it was impossible for me if someone was showing me these models and asking me for recognizing them without the title just a ponytail and a red wear is gonna make everyone claire?! or just that ultra iconic hair style will be enough to make everyone leon! please capcom
for God sakejust use the original models of re:dc's cutscens or at least put them into the game as bonus or as a dlc -------------------------- my scores to this trailer atmosphere 8/10design of locations 8/10zombies 8/10characters: leon -10/10 (as leon but 10/10 as a new character)claire -10/10 (same as leon , just personal opinion )sherry 9/10ada not sure yet, so i wanna be hopeful and positive to give it a 9/10( 10/10 for old original models of leon and claire (re:dc)) Typical triggered vocal minority from the True Fans Cult voicing their concerns about "changes" that only seem to bother them, the vocal minority. Welcome to the internet,where opinions don't matter at all. Personally,I agree. Claire looks awful,she looks like Ellie from The Last of Us imo. And what happened to her outfit? I mean,I'm hyped and all,I like the gameplay (even though it's too damn dark but I guess it's just the first part as far as I heard),graphics are nice,I never got the chance to complete the original game so it's really great for me. Now I'm waiting for a future re3 remake,idc if it will take 5 years or more,I liked it more than re2 (just my opinion,don't judge). Now all we need is a sample gameplay of the 4th survivor or,better yet,tofu. I really want to see how tofu will look like,no joke.

(maybe you did not think it was...) you could have simply said, that you like her new look and given reasons why, instead the entire comment you made, not just the odd cult thing but the entire statement would be seen by anyone as someone who was being flippant. "...stating facts..." you say, are you serious? ...everything you stated falls under the category of opinion and total speculation. Now the words you used, where in fact (whether you meant it or not), in the context that you chose to use them, where to disrespect and belittle. My point is just because you disagree with something, it doesn't warrant the overblown reaction/ response, he simply stated he was more or less disappointed with one aspect of the game and gave reasons why (he also stated it was his own opinion), and you responded by saying his opinions did not matter and where without merit, (why?) because your opinion is better because its a fact... not saying this be mean, just pointing out that if you did not mean to be disrespectful (as you claim above), then you should say things much differently (and reread things before you post them, to avoid potential misunderstandings), hope you understand...

Accept my apologize but it seems that you've missed the point of forums  We are here to say our personal opinions And nothing more Don't you post yours? Didn't you just now? By the way It's not a big deal Just different opinions And indeed, all I asked was a sincerely request To have some 3d models as a dlc So even ever they done that It will be just a dlc and notforcing others to use it, so...?!
