Mercenaries Maze V.1 Released a custom stage mod created by Mr.Curious
Greetings Friends. It is with great pleasure that I bring you yet another custom stage mod for RE4UHD. This time we have a custom playable Mercenaries stage with new enemies, new sounds, new music, and new models.
I will first say that this mod was created with custom tools created by Son of Persia that have not yet been released. I could not have done any of this without his tool set and his deep knowledge of the game. I have worked on this project for over 3 months (starting back in mid July) working no less than 4 hours a day on this (on average I usually spent about 10-12 hours a day) pretty much 5 days a week. LOTS OF WORK! Thanks for answering all my questions friend =)
Notes about usage: This mod replaces the room for r400 which is the Village section of Mercs. It has no effect on the Main Game. Instructions are provided in the download files. The ganado Zombie models are for Mercenaries Village section only and will not affect models in Main Game. The other 2 enemy models, Regenerator & Iron Maiden can be used in both Mercs and Main Game. There are several packs of files for you to chose from when downloading this project. I have separated the mod into several separate downloads that include:
I highly recommend downloading all three packages and installing them as this stage & its music was designed & chosen specifically for killing Zombies in the Halloween type vibe. Dark, Scary, Intense..

MODELS Stage & Enemy Models by Capcom. Enemy models were ported at some point to re4 (2007) by ToCool & the Master Modder Infernal. Enemy models ported to RE4UHD Mr.Curious who added all separated model parts for the Regenerator & Iron Maidens (that was lots of work but now these models will blow apart...their arms and legs can be blown off)!!!
MUSIC credits are in the read me file in the download.
STAGE DESIGN Capcom designers get half credit for the central Maze design with the rest of the credit going to Mr.Curious for the stage design, concept, 3d Modelling, and fixing the huge amount of stage model errors leftover from Capcom designers. Much help from Son of Persia figuring out the tools.
LIGHTING & EFFECTS Mr.Curious with the ongoing tech support of Albert.

Long time fan of RE4, but I never cared much for mods in this game. This one however, is one that I really want to check out! Ever since the first time I played RE4, the one thing that I always wanted to see was the hedge maze be in a mercenaries mode! Theres a big gate leading to an empty tunnel in the hedge maze, and I always thought the developers forgot to add a monster in behind that gate, like how cool would it have been to throw in a chainsaw guy at that spot, hearing the revving as you traverse the maze! Please consider making the hedge maze area even bigger lol Does installing this replace the original mercs maps or prevent the main game from working? Is there an easy way to switch everything back?

Does installing this replace the original mercs maps or prevent the main game from working? Is there an easy way to switch everything back? This mod replaces the room for r400 which is the Village section of Mercs. It has no effect on the Main Game. The 'easy' way to put everything back is to simply follow the instructions. Renaming the original files with the bak. extension works just fine. You'll be happy to know theres lots of chainsaw people in this map. Cheers

Please consider making the hedge maze area even bigger lol Also... Actually I have a real maze model that I have now that I am going release as a mod for RE4UHD that will take place of the debug rooms. Simply a very very large maze to pass through.

Ill download this in a couple days and let you know what I think You should put it in place for the actual game, theres only 2 spots in the game where you fight dogs, and the hedge maze seems like it could have been so much cooler if they had made it bigger like if you could actually get lost and not find your way out! especially if the giant metal gate kept unleashing more enemies I wonder if somebody will make a new "God Hard" mode for RE4UHD What is a debug room ? like the teleporter room or, I'm guessing its for spawning random enemies of our choosing? that would make sense for having a large maze area lol

Yeah I think your ideas are great… Maybe you should get the tools when they are released and learn how to do this… It sounds like you're interested enough.
As for me, I think I'm done for a while… I have two other rooms I'm supposed to work on but I have to take a break after working so hard

I'm mainly just waiting for Chris and Alberts HD mod to release but yea if I knew how I would totally make some mods for this game!! It's understandable if you need to take a break, it's killing me how long Chris and Albert are taking lol, I mean it all looks amazing what they are doing but its been over 3 years now! lol by the time they finish people will be playing RE4VR

I really need those scenario editing tools. so I can create magnificent scenarios. if you watch my YouTube channel you will know that I wanted to make those mods for a long time. but due to limitations of the crzosk tools. but still a good scenario. I'm dying to play with these tools of the teacher son of Persia

I really need those scenario editing tools. so I can create magnificent scenarios. if you watch my YouTube channel you will know that I wanted to make those mods for a long time. but due to limitations of the crzosk tools. but still a good scenario. I'm dying to play with these tools of the teacher son of Persia Tools are almost ready for release. I just need to write the LIT tool tutorial and it will be done. Maybe In a couple of weeks.
