Curious.. probably this is for showing the best records on that stage edit: nope i checked it right now and wasn't that so there must be something special for signed characters in the marked stages (i mean their signatures like this one for ada or mask for hunk or...) just a guess: according to their dedicated special skills and powers maybe there is something to find out for the marked characters in their stages or maybe it's about the time i mean: maybe if we could resist for a defined time, something will happen for that dedicated character (just a guess)
