Hi community!
As a massive fan of Resi Remake, I eventually bought the PC version to see what can be done with mods. The type of mod that interests me most though is rearranging the game with enemy swaps and hopefully item swapping. This is something I would like to dabble in myself so just to make this clear this isn't a demand.
Having a brief look at the progress made using Arc tool and understanding the hex code, it looks like enemy swapping is possible. Not sure whether item swapping is possible yet but I do have a question:
From what I can see, no one has released any arranged content. Why is that?

(For those curious, these topics discuss the progress that has been made on enemy placement.) Combination of the small size of the modding community, the time and effort it would take, and (the at least perceived) lack of interest, I imagine. It'd definitely be neat, though.

Yes I hoped it was lack of interest and numbers experimenting in this that was the reason as to why. It's better that than a fundamental problem such as breaking the game.
Anyway I will have a good look into what I can do. If I make progress then I will state so in the WIP section and ultimately aim to share my results in the hope that it encourages others to do so.

krookI'm sure what your thinking of us absolutely possible, just no one has put in the time or effort to figure out the stage formats. I'm sure if someone took the time with a hex editor and dug deep into the stage files and did some extensive trial and error, you would make doors load to different stages, swap enemys, move items around...etc. It's just a matter of someone willing to put in the effort and making it a reality.

Yep Wizard it's time consuming but I'm getting the hang of swapping enemies and have also managed to do stage swaps successfully so that's encouraging.
Does anyone know if any progress was achieved with locating how items are defined? I have a few ideas and have been probing but yet to have any success. Knowing of a particular file or bunch of files would be a great starting point.
