i have absolutly no clipping on the 2007 version... this is crap ! i beeseech you (if you are a modder) please find a way to improve this. (+ remove the horrible "grain" effect -see Ada below) i.cubeupload.com/hBdD3n.png

Isn't that called 'pop-in'? Clipping is when two objects collide and go inside eachother.

that sounds like i m gonna have to change my pseudo on the site i thought the name was clipping... but nevermind.... it doesn't change the fact that the 2014 version has some whereas the 2007 version doesn't.

There's more to fix with poping objects it seems ... just by watching your video, have a look at the ground <_< we can see the freakin' line that limits the two different ground textures ... And also just Leon's jacket textures are so fucking blurred I didn't expect this from the "ultimate supah dupah AcheDee powar edition" .... At least we've got the hud font and weapon's laser beams fixed, AND mouse aiming but what the hell :s

a bout that line thing separating textures you were talking about, i noticed it's even WORSE when in the garden labyrinth (in the Castle part) with the wolves. Textures on the ground mix old and new textures, it s horrific how lazy the thing was done. and i also agree about textures on Leon jacket, they are horrible (just as the ones in the village) the only textures that surprised me are the ones of the gate with the eye scanner and Ashley's pull over. Even the water effect is fucked (i am talking about the lake glitches -with that horizontal line which is not supposed to be there on top of the screen and on the screen side reflexion)

Call me stupid,But i don't see the problem. Look in the distance i didnt see it at first but now i do xD and that is how WII GC versions are its just that FOG is gone so you can see wth is happening now xD it was the same when i played The WII version On Dolphin so yeah

Why would there be a worse draw distance in a 2014 upgrade? Weird.

Wow, i thought no one noticed this. I posted this find on the steam forums but no one seems to care. No-one cares on Steam because that is how it is in the NGC/Wii/PS3/360 releases. Capcom have already said they won't fix stuff that is the same on 360.

the problem is (i think) that it comes from the engine of the game itself (2007 version= ps2 version, steam version= GC version) so it might be very difficult to fix this without changing the code of the engine i guess...
i just hope people will keep modding the old 2007 version to improve graphics. i don't care about 30FPS framerate, i just want no pop-in and better graphics....
by the way the pop-in issue also happens when playing in 30FPS mode on the steam version...

No man, forget about the 2007 version. The old crappy version has a lot of unfixable problems, so I will elaborate:
- Not only the new HD runs at 60FPS (which my eyes and brain thanks Capcom immensely just for this thing) versus the old 30FPS BUT in the old version: - The engine is so limited that you cant have the same shader effect qualities or lightning - Then the handling of alpha layers (aka transparencies) is just plain screw up beyond redemption - Fixed loading times, so the game never really uses the power of your brand new game rig - Missing sounds and overall down sampled ones, very low res textures - No real time cut scenes, this is an important one - Lastly but not least, the most annoying one: random crashes, more if you have files modded, because the exe has a memory leak somewhere that makes this game the worse port in history and a piece of utter crap that no amount of modding can save it
Compared to this, the pop up is nothing...
