I hope you realize that Bethesda games are built from the ground up to be moddable. So far, no game can compare. Ever.
Also Square Enix are a scummy company up there like EA and Warner Bros in terms of shittiness.

hi commambershep
i'm not sure so if i'm wrong please forgive me but i think skyrim wasn't modable when it released some talented coders hacked it and they made it modable and others built some tools for it and when bethesda realized about value of modding they based their new games on being modable and now they even giving them tools for modding and even supporting the new consoles for modding!!

Oh, it's the "family" guy. He looks like my adorable granpa who gives out money on xmas. His wife looks more creepier than him, she should be the one who does more of the stalking like in Mia(?)'s found footage, I think. And thanks, btw.^^ Yeahh, the Margarite is crazy, very Crazy haha xD But the Jack also is crazy but not as much as she !

Yes, and very few of them these days compare to Bethesda games. Except maybe XCOM 2.

With Fallout 4 though, Bethesda is wanting to have more control motorization on the modding it seems with their site, plus they have stupid limitations such as disabling achievements on modded games, and the saves are separated. So a modded game save can no longer be compatible with the vanilla save, even if the mods are removed. Then with Skyrim there was that attempt to make the Steam community market pay for mods. So I don't know, developers are getting greedier these days it seems.
Anyway back to RE7.

Yeah you're completely wrong. Bethesda games have been highly moddable since Morrowind.

Takeuchi: " In the dimly lit interior of a dilapidated mansion strewn with broken furniture and tinged with humidity and heat... The trailer for RESIDENT EVIL 7 biohazard (hereinafter, RESIDENT EVIL 7) was shown at this year’s E3, with the January 2017 release date greeted by loud cheers from the audience.
Seeing that reaction, I thought to myself “right on!” The Resident Evil series involves fending off a terrifying onslaught of zombies while attempting to escape from desperate situations and make it out alive by any means possible.
We’ve been evolving the series, which has let users enjoy this terrifying world, ever since the first game was released in 1996. However, we’ve heard some fans say “the old Resident Evil was scarier.” Of course, the stronger the initial shock, the longer people will remember it.
But
was that why it felt scarier? Or did we leave something behind in the process of moving the game forward? Now, with the arrival of promising new trends in VR, we are once again engaged in developing a kind of terror only Capcom— who built the survival horror market—can provide. Crafting a story that delivers a palpable experience of fear through virtual reality,
we also revamped our conventional third-person perspective (TPS) game system with a highly immersive isolated view (first person perspective). " Takahara: " I Want to Show Capcom Means Business With VR " good by R.E 7 (but i hope it's just about re7)

I really wish developers would stop being ignorant about physical trauma and make it seem like every wound inflicted isn't as painful or severe as it actually is. Like when a knife goes through the chest, that person is down and dying, not gonna be stumbling back up 20 seconds later. Nor is getting your thigh stabbed head on, gonna sound like you stubbed your toe really bad.
They skipped old characters because they would be too capable and yet these "new" characters still seem to have fortitude of Wesker. Might as well be this:

Might as well be this: You do remember how when old characters started they were bitten, slashed, clawed, cut, ect. and were fine, bar the mildly anoying limp remedied by the convenient appliance of weed? You're looking for realism in a series which had little of it to begin with.

If a series is gonna go the "gritty, realistic route", it deserves to be held to "realistic" standards.
