you have to copy the folder with the textures inside of your extracted one then you have to rename the pl0000.mrl and put there as well!!!

Thank You. When you say the upitex do you mean the uPltex arcs? Also i am not sure if you are talking about a folder literally named pl0000 inside the character arc (there are 2 but they dont seem to have any tex files) or just a folder that follows the same naming scheme? EX. there is a pl0600 folder in upl06AdaA.arc that contains a mrl and mod file. I'm sorry but I am still confused about the exact steps I need to make. Remember I am just trying to switch from one Ada costume to a different Ada costume so would I actually have to rename the mrl files because I thought all Ada costume variations used the same uPLtex arc's.

yes. you are change an ada for other ada mod so they have the same name. so just place the folder one over other then rename and copy the .mod and .mrl
the extra 3 character doesn´t have upitex since they don´t have dirty textures!! i think your problem was caused by missing mrl. the mrl is textures information like paths and dirtys
