Hello everyone, I'd like to know how can you change the voices for a character during melee moves, getting hit, killed by enemies, when the character makes noises like running, climbing, jumping etc..

actually it is possible, but only swaps, not injecting news (that's why a lot of modders here use the generic russian voices for exported characters) that's by the .spc format, now we have the dlc ones aswell, on the gfwl we only had the normal/russian voices

actually it is possible, but only swaps, not injecting news (that's why a lot of modders here use the generic russian voices for exported characters) that's by the .spc format, now we have the dlc ones aswell, on the gfwl we only had the normal/russian voices yes true is funny a lot! but import any voice inside of spc files is not possible! this only is possible in re4!

it is if you use modding but i am not experienced enough to show u how. sound effects is easy but only replacing with another spc file. the speeches u can put any sound and edit the loop and the length to play perfectly in game! just open ur favorite character stq file and find e reaplace the values. I got all wesker lines from marvel vs capcom 3 and put some on my wesker was perfect with no problem! such as "Move it", "You're nothing to me" and I edited the emo_vo_03_w.stq file.

Actually. I Also Wanted To Know That. But its hard to know how. I only know character speech change.

I found a way how to change it, but this is only for The Mercenaries Reunion characters.
I changed Sheva's melee voices to Excella's by:
1, I copied the file: emo_vo_1e_e.stq from the Gold Edition to the GFWL RE5 and renamed it to: emo_vo_01_s.stq So this way Excella's voice is in for Sheva. 2, I started the game and obviously an error for missing GE files popped up. So then I copied the files from the nativePC_MT/sound/se/pl/ folder which were for Excella, which were: se_pl1e to natviePC/sound/se/pl folder (GFWL RE5) and then Excella were having a complete voice set modded for Sheva.

yeah this is possible u can swap the sound effects abd the spechees! but add new no! oh, that is all I wanted to be honest A 100% Excella voice for Sheva. now for sound effects extract the file upl05excellanormal.arc copy all files inside this folder Sound/se/pl and replace in the same folder in another player arc and u will have excella's sound effects in another character!

how do you open/modify stq files? and if you did manage to open them how would you go about changing the duration/lenght of the line?
