Well obviously people who do less than 2 hours have a different workout than you. In terms of having protein, pre-workout or post workout, it depends on what you want. Do you want a boost for your workouts, or something to help you recover quicker? That's up to you, perhaps experiment. Try a week with one method then swap. The 30 minute anabolic window is basically a myth, as each body has it's own metabolism rate and food is broken down slowly, not instantly, otherwise we couldn't go even an hour without eating and we'd all be like humming birds. I said 48 hours because that's how long a body could take to recover from a session.

About the protein, i'm not really focused on pushing bigger weight right now so i don't need a boost. I'm trying to build mass with a weight that i can squeeze at least 10 reps. And that cardio afterwards really burns my lungs. Are you following a program?

From my experience, yes.

It's funny - I was healthier and had more muscle mass before I enlisted to the army. I guess messy diet, no proper sleep, smoking and drinking alcohol really takes its toll. Good luck to y'all on your journey. Maybe one day I'll make amends for this shitty lifestyle of mine.

I usually take and pick exercises that appeal to me, mostly things within the basics, so consequently I don't consider that I follow a program, nor do I really give them a huge concern. I change something , however small 3-4 weeks generally. So whatever works for some people is good for them. I'll stick to focusing on my own routine, despite how simple that is.

So I did some cardio today since the holiday make buses to the gym, are slower than a snail on tranquilizers. And I can say is : People who do 20 or more minutes of straight cardio without resting are inhuman! I felt the burn at about 3 minutes in, mind you I was basically hiking up a mini mountain after that point but I had to take quite a few breaks. I'm too used to short sprints, fuck long term snail pace running. Legs and throat burn.

The new training program turned out to be fantastic. I'm seeing quite the results and i'm not oversleeping like i did before. Basically the night sleep is all i need now and i wake up earlier than my alarm The bend over rows seem to hit the lower lats and that low back pretty tough. In 60 mins i complete everything now, according to weight lifting. Another 30 for cardio and abs. Not everyday of course. Turns out you were right too. Believing and testing the intensity (within 60 mins) turns out to be a growth spurt. Beefy Busch There is a trick to cardio. You DRAG your ass up to first 5-10 mins. Then your body will accept your persistence and stop weighting those legs 10 pounds per each foot. Once you broke the barrier you can keep going. Persistence. BTW if you decide to do a cardio day, go with an empty stomach in the morning. Just drink a cop of black cofee before that.

Coffee makes me hungry and I'm not running on an empty stomach at 120 lbs, I need to all the carbs I can devour. But if it works for you that's nice. I just sprint sporadically I myself have bee going at it steady and feeling good results, and notice them gains here in their in the mirrors. Lighting either makes my spirit or breaks it though. xD Although these past few days I've been only getting six hours sleep so I'll be working on going to bed earlier. The oats for breaky is also helping my body. Been mostly working back to my 2 parts a day with 3 (4 sets per) exercises, going to be trying to do my arms (triceps and biceps, not together though) twice a week and maybe legs too, I seem to only go 4 days a week, but rest is vital too. Also ditched the lat pulldown and am doing alright with the bend over rows, although they give my biceps a pump. Also doing bent over rows with dumbells to and they are hefty work.

Had a good workout today, although didn't change much in terms of weight. Had that mind-muscle connection going for a bit, in addition to a few good grunts.

I've been mixing everything up from the past two weeks, also i was supersetting arms and chest. Gotta say that triceps are burned to the ground but i don't feel the afterburn on the biceps I'm pretty sure i was stretching them as much as i could with standing barbell and EZ bar curls but i don't feel the burn the day after. I'm sure i used everything i could in the workout. Triceps hurt almost everytime tho. Anyways i'm damn sure they are growing. I'm still doing cardio 3-4 times/week and i don't see any shredding besides my arms. Not sure if my arms got bigger but there is a nice definition on them. Still that fucking layer of fat at the end of stomach makes me wanna punch it Also that cardio has given me much more oxygen in my lungs. Gives me a shorter break and keeps that sweat instantly falling Edit : I'm gonna take a vacation to beach with my family at the end of the month. 1 week swimming = 1 week cardio. I'm worried when i come back to gym i would lower the weights, so i talked to the trainer. He said i'll be fine as long as i exhausted my ass. Also told me to keep up with pushups and dips. So Beefy Busch are you gonna take a break?

So Beefy Busch are you gonna take a break? Why would I need to take a break?! Maybe I've already taken a few days off already. It might just be genetics, dude, muscle definition and vascularity are like fingerprints. I know my arms have nice definition on the inside, but outside, there is less, and then other parts lack definition too. It is what it is. What's the worry about lowering weights? Sometimes you have to take it a peg down to make more progress no?! Have a nice vacation, enjoy the beach.
