Ouch. Capcom sure don't like to make things easy, do they? Still if DMC4SE uses that new normal set up, I suspect Resident Evil 0 will be the same, when that's released. pls don't say that. ΛLISTΞR .-.

seems i will need to add more debug stuff to the script soon to make new released games support faster. well in early 2016 some more games will be added to the script like re0hd and another great one ...
yesterday i fixed another fvf in 1.2.7 script that make the script stop/crash. still working on the dmc4se normals problem, and it may require to rewrite some parts of the script for later compatibility with other games...
so it will come when it come, i hope to be able to fix all this at least for january if possible.

That's fine. Better late than never. Plus, should be on time for the RE0HD release. Heh.
On a side note, there is one other thing. I dunno if it was brought up before, but the tool doesn't support props/weapons in RE6 and some of the other RE games, DMC4SE included (b0983014 and a8fab019 in particular). Do you think support for these would be added at some point in the future?

Hi Codeman , i have a little Issue with the 1.2.4 version of the script ,when u import a model (in this case RE6) some meshes lose his rigging much like this: with other models like jake monitor the rigging is very bad to use. so is possible u can fix this? Thanks in advance. P.S: i know the last posts are from DMC4SE but i don't have time to post before about this :/.

Well the thing is, I've been editing the files outside the arc. So I don't think it has anything to do with repacking. Edit: Tried a few things and here's a better comparison of the issue: Arc repacked, no .mod changes made. Arc repacked, .mod imported then exported. ok so i finally fixed the leg problem i found out that dmc4se use the uv layer 2, if you could send me this girl textures i can check if both the diffuse and the normal map use the same layout or not, at what i can see it may be the cause of the wrong lighting on the model as i only export the uvlayer1 on both data slots (re6 use only one duplicated twice)

And sent.
As far as I figure, normal maps still work, but whether it's the normals causing it or the UV layer, as you mentions, I don't think specular does.

Merry Christmas, to you, too! I can see a lot of the rigging issues have been fixed with DMC4SE. Looking forward to more updates. Especially with Dragon's Dogma and Resident Evil 0 coming out next year.
