Thank you for this tool, it looks like it makes things so much simpler. However, I'm a complete noob when it comes to modding, all I have ever done is download the mods other people make.
I really want to try porting over old mods from 2007 version, to enjoy better graphics and higher framerate with the old custom models that I like (I'm trying to port Silent Hill Nurses over female ganados), but I'm running into trouble. Few questions: -Is it possible for me to convert enemy model replacer from 2007 version with this tool? -What if I don't have any experience with 3D modeling software? I was hoping I could just drop the old file and the new model to be replaced into your skeleton tool and then it would work. I know now that it's not quite so easy. -Specifically about the instructions for extracting the UHD model to be replaced: Do I still need to follow the steps in the other guide about using the tpl and finding the textures? I thought maybe since I'll still be using the textures from the old mod, maybe it wouldn't be necessary. -To successfully port over old model, would I need like the "source files" of the mod, or would just having the functioning mod from the old game be enough? Because I don't know what all these .tga files are in my xfile folder from 2007 version. It has .pmds, too, but do those contain textures as well as the model? Is the extracted .smd enough, or is that just the shape without any textures?
I think I might be able to figure out all the udas unpacking and repacking stuff, but I'm lost with getting the textures from the old mod. I'm worried it will require more knowledge of 3D modeling than I have, which is none.
Sorry this is so many questions, I don't really expect any answers but I'd be very thankful for any help.

Unpacking is not the most difficult step, repacking is.

I created this little thing to help you port your previous RE4 2007 mods to RE4 UHD easily.
Actually the only thing you need to do is to change/convert the skeleton structure of RE4 2007 models to that of RE4 UHD.
Hi Son of Persia. Thanks for this great tool. Can I ask you one thing ? I'm wondering if you could make a tool which does the opposite thing of the tool. In other words converting UHD skeleton into that of 2007 PC version. I stopped making mods of old RE4. But it seems people still want them. I often see messages requesting me to port my UHD mods for 2007 version. If you could do this I can easily port my UHD mods for 2007 version. Thanks in advance.

Thank you soooooo much !!!!!! I'm not a coder. But I know we moders can do our work for the sake of the tools developed by advanced coders like you. I'm sure this tool breaks the barriers between two versions of RE4.

Thank you for the upload. But I have a problem. The tool crashes when I run it and generates a 0 byte file "RE4_UHD_Model_changed.smd". So I ran it in compatibility with Windows XP Service Pack 3 mode. But the tool still crashes. There is one more thing I noticed. If I reverse the order in Skeleton_Changer.bat, this tool converts 2007 model to UHD model. I'm using Windows 7 Pro SP1. And I can run your original tool without any problem. Any help please ?

If you stay by clicking several times, even though the program continue closing, he will convert. He converted on window7 compatibility
