I have a EFF tool by St.Vampyre it decompiles the EFF into several files some which some are null and others being bigger than others. Some files can be decompiled down more into more files which then these are the textures for the effects. If that makes sense. But if you dont mind me asking why do you need too decompile the EFF? It works quite different from the UHD version. To point if you change the Effect id it reads it from the XFile.dat not the EFF file it self if im not mistaken. The textures are just leftovers that are used for...I dont really know. Removing the textures just crash the game for me, but why it does makes no sense. Seems like a waste of space. Heres the Link for the Tool. www.mediafire.com/file/zk7r4gdty2ytqcm/RE4_(PC)EFFtools.7z/fileIm interested in this tool of yours. Would you mind sharing the one you have as well?

Thank you, dear friend, for the response. I want to modify the effects in some rooms such as importing a model from another room such as a torch without changing the effects in the room I am modifying so I need a tool to decompress and repackage the EEF file in order to import the opj form

So wait a second, what you said makes no sense to me and I apologize if I misunderstand you but you are looking to import a OBJ model into the EFF? Are you familiar with how the 2007ed handles stage models and effects? Effect textures are stored in the "xfile.dat" not the EFF file it self. I explained this in this my first post. If you want to edit to edit the stage model you are going to have to understand how the rXXX.dat SMD files work in relation to the XSCR.dat. The Game only reads the SMD for coordinates rotation scale and other miscellaneous values. Such as your torch these are in controlled in XSCR(3D Stage Model) and SMD(Model Data). You fire effect is not connected to the torch. The fire or any other effect works as its own and is only placed their. I highly advice that you learn more about how this game handles its files. Its not the same as UHD. For more on the EFF read the below Post. residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/11538/effects-comparation-re4-2007-hexeditorAs the for EFF tool I posted you have to run the EXE via Command Prompt it doesn't work as a drag over app. The information is and has been most likely discussed here on this site. You just have to find it.

You just have to find it. My friend, I am not very good at English, I use Google translator, so I apologize if there is a mistake. What I want exactly is that there are some rooms such as r119, r11e, r228 ... etc, the beam emanating from the item appears as ammunition and the money is in the form of a large column as for the rest The rooms appear sparkling and bubbles. I want to make all the rooms give the beam in the form of a large column as is the case in r119 and r11e ..... etc., I decrypted the eff file for one of these rooms using the eff tool designed by Ibn Faris, but unfortunately the tool crashes and the dix file is empty, I found there is an additional folder that contains a bin file and tpl. This folder is what makes the emanating ray appear in the form of a large column of light, unlike the rest of the rooms. From here, if I can decrypt the eff file for one of these rooms, I can take this folder and put it in all the rooms for that. I am looking for a tool to decode the eff file and re-package it without breaking. Finally, I apologize for the lengthy and any error in the translation. Thank you.

I already explained on how to use it. You got to open up command prompt then run the EXE depending on your purpose whether to repack or extract based on the EXE.
Extract: usage: PCEffExtract [eff file] ex: PCEffExtract 000_title.eff
Repack: usage: PCEffRepack [index file] [output filename] ex: PCEffRepack 000_title.index output.EFF
The README.txt included in the zip file explain on how to use it.

Heres a video i just made, i was still tired during this the mkaing of this video which is why my voice sounds deeper than usual. My wonderful friend, I thank you for this beautiful video and explanation. I applied all the steps that I took in your video, the tool did the extraction, but I had a problem in returning the package as the repacking tool extracted a text document that contained an error, and I think the reason is due to the Java environment on my computer. I would like to ask you about the java environment that you use. Knowing that the extracting and repackaging tools need a Windows 10 operating system, please help me
