Claire Ponytail for Jill Mod Pack Claire's hair for Jill in RE3, with original ponytail physics from RE2. Includes nulled cutscene animations to prevent awful animation glitches during cutscenes. This is a mod pack of three mods in one RAR file. You'll need a recent version of fluffy mod manager to install mods with multiple mods in one RAR. In addition to the base ponytail mod, the mod pack includes: Claire Ponytail for Jill - Poofy Ponytail (addon) Claire Ponytail for Jill - Dark Hair (addon)(pictured with the poofy ponytail, but works for regular ponytail as well) This mod was months in the making. Thanks very much to thedarkness704 for helping to make it possible; his MDF converter and his efforts in documenting the chain format allowed me to successfully convert the pl1070.chain physics file from RE2 to RE3 and use it on Claire's original hair model with a converted MDF. It took a huge amount of work to get the collision to finally work so that the hair collided with her shoulders and head: The only issue I've been having with it was with the front hair bone over the right side of her face. You'll notice I tucked that hair away behind her ear, unlike with Claire. That is because the upper part of it has an issue with vibrating violently when Jill walks forward. The chain file that is used by the mod has this bone disabled, but you can use it if you want to by using the alternative chain file " pl2005.chain.24 complete" included in the mod's pl2005\mesh folder. Modders can use this ponytail hair mesh with its flowing physics to rig long hair over, as an alternative to rigging over Becca's Hair. Some of the best hair mods were rigged over Claire's hair in RE2. If you need a chain file converted from RE2 to RE3, message me and I'll try to do it with my conversion script.

Lovely mod, really like your work. Would you consider making a blonde version of this mod? I'd love to use this hair with Battlesuit Jill and Julia Voth Face for an RE5 look.

Cool, the physics don't work on cutscenes though. They work on about half of the cutscenes. Not all of them have specific animations for Jill's hair, and instead just would let her hair bounce around with the chain physics. The cutscene on the footbridge where Nemesis is chasing her, for example, or the cutscenes where Nemesis pulls out his rocket launcher and starts pursuing her. Those all have physics in this mod Lovely mod, really like your work. Would you consider making a blonde version of this mod? I'd love to use this hair with Battlesuit Jill and Julia Voth Face for an RE5 look. good idea

Is This Trick Gonna Work With Body Physics?, That Would Be Great If We Can Bring Annette's Jacket & Ada's Coat Physics From RE2R Or Vice Versa.
And I Can See If You Didn't Repalced Jill Hair Texture, Instead You Created Custom Path Like RE2R Did, So I Assume We Can Retain Original Shaders On Mesh Too, Right?

Yes, this does work with body physics too. I also converted Claire's body chain file, pl1000.chain.21, to work in RE3 (as pl2000.chain.24). And Ada's hair chain file, pl2070.chain.21One that I can never get to work however is Ada's coat physics. It uses a unique "GPUC" file that's only used in RE2 and only used on Ada's coat, nowhere else in any other game anywhere. And yes I used Claire's converted MDF file, but I edited it with the Material Swapper to make it use Jill's materials from RE3 (and her RE3 shader libraries). This way I didn't have to include so many RE2 files with the mod, and I was hoping it would enable the hair to get wet as well, but that didn't seem to work (wetness is weird in RE3). I made the MDF use custom texture filepaths that led to the same place in the sectionroot folder as where Claire's files went, so that RE2 texture mods for Claire's hair would be easy to install in RE3 just by changing the extensions on the texture files. Still, the hair shaders for Jill and Claire are very similar, and I was able to copy almost all of the floats values from Claire's hair to Jill's hair in the MDF.

i have a question about this. think you can make it longer with physics i have one that is long but the physics is just horrible so i wanted to ask if you can make a longer variation like this photo here if you can please let me know i would appreciate it. thank you PHOTO LINK: imgur.com/a/BnfGsB3

Thanks for making this I really love it!
Unfortunately It does not work for me and I have no idea why. My Fluffy only sees one of the three and everytime my game is loading it would stuck at 90%
Tried it with Fluffy 5000 that has 0 mod in it and it's the same.
