Re2 Remake has the same issue with weapons getting stuck in the floor between the feet when swapping characters.
The problem lies in the .mesh file of the model....
Characters that are intended to carry certain weapons have extra bones in the model which are used as mounting points for weapons to be carried on the back or hips.
Characters not intended to carry these weapons do no have the extra bones in their model, thus the weapons are displayed at the 0,0,0 coordinates of the model. (between the feet)
With the old Re2 import / export scripts it was not possible to edit / modify the bones in the .mesh, Dunno if that has changed with Re3 or Resistance scripts.
There is also a switch that determines weather a holstered weapon is displayed or not, but I was never able to find it. I suspect it is also encoded in to each specific model somewhere.

was scrolling kinda fast and read this as "samuel jackson". lol thought "wow nick fury came to raccoon city to recruit jill to join the avengers". anyway great mod, looking forward to having more characters to play as in the main game

Nice work. Looking at this i think someone could make Classic Carlos by giving Samuel the Classic hair and and then making the classic UBCS outfit. It would probably need a voice mod to make sence though lol.

Any chance to have him wearing the RPD uniform or maybe his extra outfits ? I'd also say it would be neat to have him with extra outfit options over Jill as well
