Hey guys, one thing that I have always hated about the RE games is being chased by the dreaded Mr X RE2, and Nemesis RE3. I find that this is just an annoyance in the game that takes away from the fun factor of zombie survival and puzzle solving which makes these RE games great. My most used mod in RE2 was 'X NO MORE' which eliminated MR X appearing and chasing you. Can we make a similar mod for RE3R which eliminates Nemesis appearing and chasing you? This is a mod that I would actually pay for as I hate this stupidness of the game. I am hoping that this can be done. Thanks

huh thats odd considering mr.x was my favorite part of re2. he was a neat little stone that ide have to constantly adjust routing to combat

On the contrary I actually wish there is a mod to make Nemesis chase you from the start till the very end LOL or at least until he transform to 2nd form Because thats kinda how the original RE3 works. The new version just don't have that "Nemesis is everywhere" feeling during free roaming. They are all scripted event.
But I understand you. Since there was a "No more Mr X" mod. Would like to see one for Nemesis as well:)

man i would love a mod that adds nemesis chasing you from start to finish That is the great thing with mods. Everyone likes to play the game different and that is why mods make these games great. Me, I like to focus on the game play and puzzle solutions rather than being chased around using up all my health . I like to fight and think, not run!

man i would love a mod that adds nemesis chasing you from start to finish thats what capcom had us fans to beleive that nemesis would be more of an aggressive pursuer than mr x but as we can all clearly see, that they lied....AGAIN

I'm working on figuring out how to spawn nemesis but I've mostly discovered how to break his spawning. So what you're asking I think I could do. However, I've only tested up till the subway and I've managed to break every spawn of nemesis up till that point. Rocket nemmy and Flame nemmy I haven't tested or tried to screw with their files yet. I'm mostly concentrating on city nemmy to bloody figure out the mechanism for spawning him.

I think he means the same way it works for RE2 with the Mr.X No More mod. EG: prevent every Nemesis spawn minus boss fights, so he will still appear in cutscenes but as far as the actual chasing gameplay goes he will not spawn at all. So, for example: you would still see the scripted sequences that involve Nemesis, like the intro sequence and the sequence on the bridge before the boss fight in the clock tower plaza, but any other instance will not trigger. So, for example: you would see the trigger for the rocket launcher sequence, but as soon as the cutscene ends you wouldn't have Nemesis during your pathing towards the subway station

Thanks for clarifying, I'll look into it next weekend then when I get some spare time. As for spawning Nemesis more... no luck. I'm first just trying to make it so rather than spawn him more, make him not despawn. That'd fix a lot and increase the tension. Anyway I won't talk pipe-dreams until I get results and can demonstrate. But breaking the spawn, I can do that. Either by moving the spawn triggers, or by screwing around with the 'load order' that's present in the nemesisset.scn.20 file. Can even break it using the inthecity.scn.20 file but that one also affects the way the scenario plays out. EDIT: No More Nemmy Mod -> residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/13080/more-nemmy-mod
