Good news! The Ultimate trainer DOES work along with 3dmigoto, it's just me who was an idiot I thought activating the hotkey section and pressing the corresponding one should be enough, but just now I realised that the trainer has scrollbars and there are tons of options in the lower part, including the one which activates the manual flashlight. So now, the game really starts to look good and the silly tension created by the flashlight is gone! ohh thank god i cant wait for the mod disabling this blue tint cause it was annoying,(anyway i hope its not a reshade and more of a modification on the files)you know potato pc .but again thanks i am so excited for this I know what you're saying, haha! What I did was disable a shader, so I think the performance should actually increase a little
For all the people eager to test this, I created a little package with the first alpha version, and you can download it here:
Please check it out and tell me if and how it works for you.
Unpack all the files to the root of your RE2 installation folder (usually: [your Steam folder]\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 2 BIOHAZARD RE2\ )
Run the game and it should work if you select "TAA" in Options -> Graphics -> Anti-aliasing. The "OFF" option also works, but it looks much worse.
If you don't like it, don't want it anymore, or if things go bad for any reason, running the included 3dmigoto uninstall.bat (also from the installation folder) should get rid of it. Even though I played with shader files a lot, I never had to use the Steam option which can be used to restore proper game files.
Don't forget about disabling the flashlight if you want to feel more of the original atmosphere.
In the near future, it probably needs some way to use toggle the effect. For instance, the main screen and the city part looks pretty bad with this enabled, but I'll take that over the RPD looking dark and blue. I'll try to do more when I have the time, but I lack both spare time and knowledge to do this properly.
Enjoy!
thanks i gonna check this right now 😍😘

Testing it at the moment as I'm writing here now ... It's just simply AMAZING imo! So far it works well - the little flaws you described are obvious, but manageable and in no way decrease the overall fun itself. I started Claire B and boy, oh boy, let alone the beginning there is so good with a clear view to the clock tower and the surroundings in all its glory!
KEEP UP THE FINE WORK!

It's so weird that your antivirus deleted your d3dx.ini file, because it's basically a simple text file. I scanned the file on virustotal.com and nothing was detected. On my PC I am running ESET-NOD32. Maybe your AV deleted some dll files as well? There is even a file named d3d11.dll, so just the extension is different.
For now I can only think of these three problems: another mod interacting with this one (hooking to DX), or maybe missing files, or maybe DirectX 11 not being selected in-game. Are you sure you're not running DX12? When I get the time to work more on this, I will probably create a proper place to download it from, like an entry on nexusmods or something.

hey bro thanks again. its not about that i had tested with reinstalling the game and it worked but after i used the hex edit to remove sharpness and vignette the mod doesnt work.so its because i removed the vignete and the sharpeness and 3dmigoto cant find the path i guess to remove the shader from the game.its ok bro if you come up with something new let me now or a new mod have a nice day .

Oh, thanks for clearing it up! Well, I think that the shader which I'm disabling in my mod ACTUALLY IS exactly the same shader which normally adds the vignette and the sharpening! Haha So I think you don't even need the hex edit anymore for sharpness and for vignette, because I think I already removed them completely in this mod. Have a nice day as well!

Have a nice day as well! actually you removed the blue tint shader which is too much in the game thats why when you use it,in the game it clears up the awful darkness you know developers brought up in first place.so i used the 3d migoto and i saw some hex values for different shaders with the hunter mod,so i will check the those values and see what we could change with hex edit.keep doing your awesome job with 3d migoto and tell me if you remove something and see the values,we can bring awesome results and clear more things into the game, you know the foggy enviroment for example.also with my configs inis i can remove some stuff i created those configs and i remove someshadows and some fog i dont know how but i used the notepad and i saw some commands and i brought them into the configs and it works i just i dont know what it works from those commands.but thanks bro keep up the awesome job .

Where did you see the hex values in the 3dmigoto hunting mode? I only saw the shader hashes displayed after marking a shader, but I don't think they can be used to alter the main .exe file in any way. The shader which I disabled with my mod is the one whose hash is e6326d373901aa4d and if you look in the HLSL code which is output by 3dmigoto, you can actually find the sharpness in the last lines, I think it's something like this: o0.xyz = sharpness * r0.xyz + r2.xyz; o0.w = 0; return; The ugly vignette is also clearly not present when using my mod. Or at least I don't see it anymore.
Anyway, keep trying things, we can learn this way.

NEW version! 1.0 You can all download it here: www.nexusmods.com/residentevil22019/mods/505/Changes: toggles: F5 turns OFF / ON the shader from the previous version (darkness, vignette, blue tint), and F6 turns ON / OFF another shader, which reduces or eliminates fire in the game (and the glare made by it),
PS: the shader from F6 also eliminates some fog (check it out,pen15! I don't know if this is the fog you are talking about, maybe it helps)
