What is the files for her equipment like her holster and such? Whose equipment? Jill? The models are on her body models. In most cases the textures for them are on her body texture or the equipment/props textures

A little trick I did when I first start modding was searching for already avaiable mods to learn which files were changed and why. In your case, there is a REal 1998 Movie Signs mod already released. So my advice is download it and see which files were changed. I hope it helps.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I need the Jill model before she gets all the gear (when she gets the gun of the dead cop zombie at the start of the game) but I don't know which one is so can someone help me please?

They're the very same models before and after Jill's equipped with all the gears. Them models only differ in what the TS posted in the first post. Now those gears are in each groups in those models itselves (not only gears but all parts of the costume in each groups. holsters, tanktop, body, skirt, flashlight, so, so.) you can check it in any modeling software.
