Anyone who's having trouble using hex editor can take a look at this video to see how to find the hex values.
HI.sry To bother u but it says cant find E9 CB 83 7B 0F CC CC CC CC CC CC .i followed ur tutorial then ur vid but nopes.i knw how to manage around mods so i shud be fine but this is tricky. Did you search hex value or text value? Many people make this mistake where they search for text value which is wrong.
Also uncheck case sensitive setting.

Wow. Thank you so much for taking the time to create this simple video tutorial. I tried your written steps but messed up. This is much easier.

Did you search hex value or text value? Many people make this mistake where they search for text value which is wrong. Also uncheck case sensitive setting.

Are you using the steam version or a cracked version? It's possible that on cracked exe the codes have been altered. And in that case the value for the animation framerate might be different from a legit copy. Or if you are using a legit version, then make sure to update the game and see if you can find the code that way. Wow. Thank you so much for taking the time to create this simple video tutorial. Seems there was a 955MB update/patch just recently. The updated .exe's 0x17D24B0 adress now reads 'CC' only at full row - not 'E9 CB 83 7B 0F CC CC CC CC CC CC' anymore.
Guess the replace with '41 B8 00 00 00 00 E9 C5 83 7B 0F' won't do the trick, will it?

I've updated it to support the latest version of the game. Is there any chance that, LOWERING the speed may help performance? (I don't typically play at 60 FPS consistently anyways so it's fine..) This, or help anything background related in regards to CPU/GPU/etc?
I don't really think it is worth lowering the animation rate further. The CPU time gains seem to be too low and it affects the gameplay.

Grab latest version of modmanager from the first post here and unpack it in your folder where your modmanager resides.

Does anyone know how to update modmanager? Yeah I figured that out. But the other fixes that requires hexediting are broken.
My monitor's Aspect Ratio is 16:10 and the game doesn't support 16:10 by default. And 16:10 and 4:3 were fixed but this latest update completely broke it. I can't even find those hex values in the new exe anymore.

Really glad this mod was found as I hated the stop motion look of the zombies especially on high-end hardware. The developers should just add the option into the graphics menu really.

Unrelated but is there any way to fix the horribly pixelated Screen Space Reflections? Whenever there are reflective surfaces like on police station walls or water puddles? I'm considering turning them off because they're so blocky and immersion breaking.
