- This is for extraction only not repacking
- Must have at least 30gb of free space for the extracted .pak
First download this. Then Noesis v4.39tex.10 plug-in________________________________ Once you got it all, place them where ever then click on quickbms_4gb_files.exe This window should pop up click on re2_pak_unpack.bms"___ Another window should pop up  Select re_chunk_000.pak or if it's dlc re_dlc_000.pak___ One last window should pop up telling you where you want the files to go, I aways make a directory and call it RE2 Unpacked inside there I click save  Wait till it's done then go back to where you extracted it and look at all the new files. ________ How to use NoesisFirst go to the directory where you installed it then look for the plug-ins folder  inside it you'll see another folder called python here is where the plug-in fmt_RE2_REMAKE_tex.py should go.  Now start up Noesis and look for your tex.10 you want then right click on it after viewing it and select export
 This menu should pop up do as you wish with what format and where you want the texture to be exported to  You'll now have the texture in a format that can be edited. If you have any questions go here: residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/10063/answering-commonly-asked-re2-modding

Does this method only allow for extracting textures does it allow for the extraction of meshes as well?

I follow the step and unpack the file Tex are extracted but the mesh didn't
is that any way to extract the mesh？

Not working for me. I get this error:  I have 71GB free on my drive, so its not a space related issue.

Aye, same issue got about 19 gigs worth of files unpacked before I got what I'm sure is a 1:1 error Usually I'm one to try and tamper with it myself but I think unpacking those files took me over an hour so I'm calling in tech support

Yeah, on my SSD, it takes about 5-10 mins to extract (the same 19gb) files, before it spits out the error.

when it's fully extracted, I think it's like 40 something GB, but at the moment, since the script is broken, you can only extract the first 19GB of data before it errors.

Well the author of the quickbms script "Ekey" is aware that the script no longer works. Just have to wait and see if he bothers to fix it or not. If not, then there probably wont be many new mods anymore.
