(btw - what's a discord? ) If your being serious Discord is widely used now days by alot of stuff. discordapp.com/Companys, Games, friends, youtubers, twitch streamers. You should join ours, we talk about modding each game and help each other out.

So I followed Maliwei's tutorial and used his method, got it working!
BUT I kinda f'd up. :/
I didn't have a backup of my 920560 folder. When I started trying out the mods weeks ago, I was pretty new to the whole thing, so no i don't have any way of getting the original sherriff back.
Can one of you gents be kind enough to share a copy of the dlc pack file located in 920560?

The progress are amazing, Zealot Tormunds! You know if HUNK model has a face textured behind mask? Would be interesting to know his real face. I don't think it does sadly, it's probably just the mask I'll check tho are you able to make hunk's lenses black and transparent? looks like there's a head underneath that. or make it use leon's head Ye that can be done, I gotta check if there's a head in there first though haha the good news is they actually have a dedicated gas mask model now, i'm not sure if it's hunk's head, but it seems to fit the ghost survivor characters so it assume it'll fit leon's head. it can be swapped to replace leon's hair file and it'l work fine.
some people say they are not able to make diffuse use alphas for transparency, but another texture file suffic atos seems to control transparency, but people are having difficutly with that file working in the game.

themimegogo u can vefiy the steam Re2 file By right clicking it then go to Properties/local files/Verfiy itegrity of Game files this should fix ur leon sheriff

themimegogo did you solve the problems with UVs? I'm having the same issue, the model exports fine but the UVs are all wrong and messed up. Also, let's say I have two meshes, each with their own textures, how do I choose which mesh uses what texture? Hey bro. Yes i got it to work. I hope you are going thru the same thing i went thru, otherwise what I have to say might not be of any use. Anyway a few posts up, i have a long post which was basically maliwei777's tutorial for mesh import in english. Since i was brining in my own mesh, i kind of skipped the parts where he teaches us how to extract the mesh from the game and have it go thru noesis. It was a mistake on my part not to do so. I was having all these messy uv issues despite them looking correct in max and maya. So to fix the problem, i saved out an fbx of my model, openened it in noesis and export it again as an fbx. Then it just magically solved my uv problems without me making any actual changes to the uv. The steps are in the long post. Give it a try. Hope it works for you. Edit: Oh right to answer your second question, im not sure actually, but as an observation, most characters in the game have several body part meshes anyway, and that theyre grouped accd to lods as seen in maliweis tutorial. I think in princuple you will need to assign the correct texture from within your dcc, but im guessing they are linked by name when it comes to the .10 files. Im just speculating, but im positive other members will know better than me.

I'm already using Noesis but the UVs are messed up! What version of 3DSMax are you using? I'm using 2019, might be that? I'm downloading 2014 now. Im using 2017. Can you post a screenie of your in game uv troubles? Sounds like youre going thru something conpletely different

I wasn't doing the steps properly! Now the UVs are perfect! Now it's time to make some textures! awesome! happy for you. pls share what you did - any info is worth learning from.
