As requested by seda, I have created a version of the 0700000.pack file that makes the HUD invisible! The normal action HUD messages will still appear, but player health (including Ashley), ammo, and status will no longer appear on screen. Please note that I was working off of my current 0700000 folder which already contained the Film grain fix by marcelo20xx, so installing this file will also remove the film grain effect seen throughout many parts in the game (a great fix if you ask me)! This pack file also contains martins shader fix 1.06 which cause the effects of bump maps and specular highlights to be displayed more accurately in game . The two available downloads have either PS2 button or Xbox texture files extracted from the button Mod by Dark Samus. INSTRUCTIONS: Make sure you backup any files you replace in case you wish to revert back to having the normal HUD. This file is a pack file with no LFS extension, so you will have to delete the original 07000000.pack.lfs version or rename it to 07000000.pack.bak before you add the new file. If you have a version 0000007.pack that contains other mods make sure you take those files and repack them into this new .pack file if you want to retain those mods). If you are unable to do so on your own, please request it here and I will merge the mods together for you.

hi dear Mr.Curious oh yeah very good and thank you very much matejust one question: did you test to reduce the size of the hud's textures to getting a smaller version? i mean what do you think about resizing all of hud's textures as same is it possible? or it makes hud collapsed? i wanted to test it before but unpacker was giving me a critical error to run! (i got virus lately and my pc isn't working correctly, i almost removed and reinstall everything but it still have some issues!)

I did not test to reduce size, as I didn't think that method would work, as usually texture placements in game are not actually determined by their pixel dimensions but by the game engine itself. Some of Dark Samus's button mod packs came with smaller button images that the originals I think, but they remained the same size on-screen if I remember correctly. I will try a test though to see if it works and let you know. Links are up now ! Please let me know if you have an original 0700000 pack file as I dont have one to work with ! EDIT - I am able to resize the HUD but can not make it go outside of the area that it is already allotted onscreen, so making it bigger is not an option, however smaller is possible. To do though, I will have to scale everything back to the same proportions. There are many files involved (all the numbers for ammo count, amoo avatars, health bar Before I proceed any further, what is it you want exactly? Personally I think im going to get rid of that rock-face border and make it look more nouveau with a flat modern web-design kind of look like this:

a big yes exactly very good i think that hud will be very better without the rocky texture (and also nameless) so yes just like that, it's my favorite because i had made samething 10 years ago for old version and actually somehow i am used to it (fun part is: i can't remember that how i changed the position! ) edit: forgive me i forgot about 0700000 pack yes i got a backup of it do you want the file? www.mediafire.com/file/6ub1clm6r75wrv0/07000000.pack.bcu

Excellent and thanks for the backup file! I want able to use it though, as there is some BCU file extension and simply renamaing it wouldn't work. =( Im curious too how you changed the position. It's not going to be anything in the Imagepack folders.. I wonder. Maybe Albert can weigh in on this. I will make the new 07000000.pack file for you but I need to know which buttons you use first. The mod will have no names, and no border. I will also take out the shader behind it. I just released another interesting mod you might be interested in, as it uses the same 07000000.pack file. Check it out HERE

heads up, the original download files I uploaded for the Invisible HUD mod were incomplete, and wasn't even in pack format.. I must have been tired. Anyways, the links are updated for Invisible HUD mod.

I left an Easter egg in the mod folder to show people how I did it so that they can pick up where i left off I'm sure there are more possibilities than what I have done by modifying one file. I will check out 7z in the future. Winrar is kind of annoying using the free version. I will get on your mod tomorrow, as its very late (i had to repack all my files for both mods I did today because of errors).. In the mean time, try and remember how you moved that HUD file.
