When I got RE1 on steam I got given the Japanese Biohazard version of the game...
 I have OCD and having 2 Resident Evil games that show and say "Biohazard" instead is crazy annoying. (The other being Resident Evil Revelations 2) Anyway, I have however corrected this issue...  This mod changes not only the title screen, but the announcer will also say "Resident Evil" now. So if you own "Biohazard" and wish it was "Resident Evil" just download these files... Big thank you to noxa who helped me to make this possible.

How was you able to open the .tex files? For some reasone, Sectus tools doesn't seem to convert those to .dds

Didn't need to, I just had to rename English files as Japanese ones to get it working.
The audio part was done by noxa

HI friends
I installed the steam version of this game and the title is Resident evil americna version , my question is, How I can replace the BIOHZARD title with the voice in japanese?, I like the original japan title.

Same here, would really really appreciate it if you could share the files DarkSamus, I'd make my own mod with it. Same with BH Zero. I've searched all over the internet to get the japanese version of the game but no luck. So.. Pretty please

I'll credit you as co-author like I did for my Rev 2 RE to BH (I used your inverse mod to pinpoint the location of the files)  Now I gotta get my hands on the same files for RE0 and my RE to BH serie of mod will be complete... (DarkSamus I searched everywhere on the internet, asked you in PM ages ago, I even opened a thread on Steam and invited Japanese people randomly to ask them so thanks so much!)

I remember you said that you were OCD (like I am ahah) about that, so I'd figure so already. Now that I think of it I should be able to find a PS3/X360 japanese ISO and extract it... Damn I'm dumb sometimes...

The Biohazard title screen looks so much better with the creepy infected eye. Can I please have the cool "BIOOOOHAZAAARRRRD!!!" title screen with the announcer saying Biohazard? I bought Resi 1 Remake and Resi3 this weekend it was on Steam-Sale and Resident Evil 1 2 and 3 Nemesis are the absolute masters of survival horror. Absolute Must-have on every single PC! The graphics of RE1 is very enhanced now - looks like the devs are using this legendary upscale project also. But the bugged flawed music tracks are still in the game. The most important iconic music tracks like old guardhouse or laboratory B3 are destroyed because they play twice or tripe of the original speed. This NEVER got fixed, but thankfully we have the Resident Evil modding boards to fix this problem! Have the devs destroyed the most iconic RE1 classic music tracks on purpose - or did they just never notice? Well thanks to this great forum the damaged music tracks of the most iconic BGM ever made is already bug-fixed and now the original LabB3 and guardhouse music (and other fixed tracks? play again. But this cool BIOHAZARD title screen and the original coloured Resident Evil Director`s Cut intro would make the retro experience perfect!
