Hi, I know how to extract the HUD on the RE4 UHD version, but I would like to extract the HUD from an old mod that comes from the 2007 port. I don't know where to find its location in this version.

Here please, I prefer if it can help others who are looking for the same thing as me on this forum. I suspect it's the UWF files, but maybe I'm wrong. I need to extract this HUD to make a mod on RE4 UHD.

The HUD is located in the EFF file. On 2007 these are different than UHD but if you follow this guided in the thread below you can extract it residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/14465/helpThe EF1 are TPL textures that can be edited using GIF2TPL or simply using GGS(Game Graphic Studio) to rip the texture. I unfortunately don't know which .EF1 is the one your looking for buts its definitely in the EFF. The UWF is just responsible for positioning and animating UI elements in menus or in game.

I extracted all Core.EFF files using RE4UHD Toolset by Son of Persia software there are no HUD DDS and TGA textures like on RE4 UHD. And I used your program, but it tells me that "This application cannot run on your PC"

This is what i was saying the 2007 AND UHD ARE DIFFERENT. You cant use much of UHD tools on 2007 they are only guaranteed to work on UHD with 100%. Extract core.dat using SOP DAT tool and extract EFF using the command below
Put this line of code into a .BAT file and run the Batch file.
As for the EXE not working. Im not sure what to say. Try redownloading and confirming it not corrupted PCEffExtract.exe - CRC 78407A95 PCEffRepack.exe - CRC EAD8A565

What did it say if anything? I have Windows 10 home and it works excellent for me. Also its not my tool, in the readme.txt it was made by St.Vampyre, please give credits to them. As a last resort would download this Java 7 Update 25 resource reason being is that some of St.Vampyre Tools were made using this exact version, and it will not work without. Then download my copy as it already has the Batch file made and put your EFF file in the same directory and run "extract.bat" I can't seem to help with the details you gave me, alternatively you can just also use Game Graphic Studio and open the Core.dat but this i feel is harder and more limited as your working within the limitations of a obsolete tool. I Wish you luck.

I used Ninja Ripper instead much easier to extract textures, but thank you anyway.
