Yes it is. But itll take quite some amount of work. There are a lot more data files to manage when dealing with the original characters (for example leon changes costume when he gets injured, and claire passes her jacket to sherry). This entails modding those changes as well. The dlc costumes are contained and simple to work with. But you can DIY if you want, using this very mod, and the lessons taught in the tutorials, everything you need to make it work is here. Edit: Actually wait... I forgot to mention that Fluffyqucks mod manager has a trainer function that allows you to swap characters, you can use it even without the dlc costumes.
Its there but it can cause issues (at least for me) with things like for Example, replacing LEON with HUNK can cause the magnum case downstairs before the first bossfight not be there. Also it can cause the platform your suppose to drop down with to be invisible and if it happens, you will be floating above them.
Really? 🤔 I did encounter this bug before (exact same place), but not with the Hunk mod, with my own ~ when i was experimenting with changing the pfb16 files. Although - not using the trainer, but using the actual sherrif to hunk mod, i didnt encounter it. This should be brought to FluffyQuack's attention.

I think its simply a issue regarding swapping characters. Later after the boss fight. When the garage lights are suppose to turn on, they wont after the first cutscene with ADA. This apparently causes the game to NOT unlock the doors you need to go to while your another character causing you to swap back to LEON.(Not sure about Claire.)

Would anyone be able to make a model swap, that swaps Leon Noir, with the Forgotten Soldier's model?
Or perhaps use the hunk body (still for Noir) and simply have Forgotten Soldier's helmet in it's place?

hm...Why do I modify the hunk model when I look at the costume and its model is no different from arley sheriff  can you help me fix its problem

I just discovered if you use this in conjunction with the 1998 Models mod you can play as Classic HUNK!
