Greetings. With the recent release of the RE4UHD Toolkit by Son of Persia it has been discovered that some of the tools actually work on some of the old files from RE4UHD. While the compatibility list is still incomplete, it is worth noting that the SAT-EAT Tool is working for the 2007 version. There are some we know that do NOT work, like the ETM tool as there are BIN files that are included that arent repacking properly. IF anyone cares to experiment please feel free to report your findings here to share with others. Happy Modding!

SMD: Does Not Work SAT-EAT: Works! SAR-EAR:Works ITM: Don't Work ITA: Works! FSE: Seems to work (?) ETS: Seems to work ETM: Don't Work EFF: Seems to extract but crashes within seconds? Not Working Confirmed! AEV: Unsure? Mr.Curious Confirmed Not Working

Well that's a pretty good percentage of the tools then!
Thank you for taking the time to make this list. Wondering if you could explain how you were able to verify that the tools work? Did you simply unpack and repack the room files and then repack the dat ?

The BIN tool Dosn't Work, Invalid Key I think I sent you some other bin tools. It's too bad this one doesn't work, but I know that the 2007 version uses pmd for player models rather than SMD models.

the lit tool also works I already tested ... I think it will also be possible to make new scenarios using these tools, since the sat_eat tool also works for this version ... Mr. Curious porposite this version of 2007 also contains files .bin and .tpl (but in this version the tpls are the same textures corresponding to the model), but incompatible with the tool that already exists for UHD ... but it is possible to visualize the textures in tpl format using the program graphic games studio

I feel that For us to truly make new scenarios i feel that the a smd tool would play a big part in doing this if not all of it (Unless you mastered it in hex) true with the sat and eat tool working (Confirmed) this would help a lot instead but what are going to do about actually making these new scenarios? For us to add smd models by scratch that would be able for us to truly make new scenarios

see this my attempt to insert a new scenario in the re4 version of 2007, I used as base a infernal mod, but did not know how to add collision, because it was not possible because there were no tools to do so. I'm not an expert on the subject, but I do not think it's necessary to edit the smd file, you just need to change the settings of the player so it starts in the room in a place far from the point where it originally started

You have a completely valid point but I thought we were talking about simply making a new scenario from scratch as you said " I think it will also be possible to make new scenarios using these tools" and as you mentioned "These tools"

unfortunately any file containing .bin models will dont work with the tools, and to make new scenarios for the mercenaries for version re4 2007 to know to change the initial position of the player, thing that seems to be very complicated because it is necessary to do this directly in .exe about the game

Oh xD meant to say dosnt works sorry about any confusion above. And what you mean about editing coordinates, doing so is actually easier than you think just a matter of copying the coordinates from the Exact Player Coordinates CE CT script. As I easily did with my news Mercenaries stage I’m swapping over
