SMX Tool and Tutoial Update There has been recent progress with this tool , so the tool has been updated in the main tool thread , as well as the tutorial (above link updated). So the good news is now that a most recent finding by the master of all master modders, Albert, now allows us to have much more control over which models are illuminated by the lights. In the past we were essentially guessing how to use the LightControl values to determine which lights touched which models. Now we have precise control over this function. This new discovery by Albert will allow us to have more dynamic lighting, and to block lights from touching certain models, which can be most useful when creating indoor lighting scenarios where we dont want certain lights going though the walls. The LIGHT-CONTROL VALUES section of the tutorial has been updated to explain the new parameters set out by the updated SMX tool, created by our most generous and talented Son of Persia.
