You can still use custom input files with the HDP 1.0, just not the custom buttons yet.

Same here, Installing the V6 flavor of this mod results in instant CTD when used with the Resident Evil 4 HD Project V1.0 Give him some time. He said he would look into it after v1.0 released.

Hi, great to know you still update and develop it, I was using your PS2 button layout mod but it isn't working with the HD Project 1.0 now (Game crashed at start). Please fix it, the ps2 mod is awesome, it is my essential mod, can't play without it. Thanks & happy new year.

I actually purchased a high quality DualSense button prompt pack a couple of months ago as I wanted to make a pack with them, but I found it a bit too tricky for my skillset. I also ripped the prompts from the PS4 release. Those look pretty nice, and are a decent resolution that would fit the HD Project well.

Thanks. 07000000 is the one with most of the buttons (interact/QTE prompts, Ashley button), the 37000001 is the English inventory screen for the Move button, and and 36000001 is the bottlecap screen. The other 3700000s and 3600000s are other languages.

Would it be possible to create a Wii Classic Controller/Pro controller-inspired controller layout mod with relevant PlayStation/Xbox/Nintendo prompts for the vanilla version of RE4 and the HD Project? The controls being the following (In order of PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo): - Left Stick: Move Character/Cursor
- Right Stick: Move Camera, Zoom Scope In or Out/Flip Selection
- D-pad: Move Character/Cursor
- x/A/B: Action/Confirm
- ◯/B/A: Command Ashley/Cancel
- □/X/Y: Run/Move Selection
- △/Y/X: Open/Close Inventory
- L1/LB/ZL: Not used (or Open Map)
- R1/RB/ZR: Open Map
- L2/LT/L: Ready Knife/Rotate Selection Left/Zoom Out Map
- R2/RT/R: Ready Weapon/Rotate Selection Right/Zoom In Map
- Start/Menu/+: Open Options
- Back/View/-: Open/Close Inventory
Agree, PS4 version buttons are much more detailed. I second this, and I would love to see Xbox One/Series and Switch Pro Controller prompts be implemented for the HD Project too.

Ok people. I have a huge problem preventing me from releasing a final release. My PC has broken down and I won't have the means to repair it for about 6 months. Is anyone able to update this mod for Albert/Chris's latest release? I will greatly appreciate the release and will help where needed.

Screw it, I already made an updated version for personal use using my control setup, so I guess I can whip it up an update for the other ones over the next day or two.
