I literally made an account just to tell you this. Thank you so much for making and/or releasing this mod. This is such a life saver. I never understood why they changed the controls to mimic RE5 in later versions of RE4. RE4 doesn't even have the same movement possibilities as RE5 so to make it play like that game is odd at best. More hilarious than that is that RE5 (every version) maintains an RE4 (NGC) button layout that's more true to original RE4 than modern RE4's "classic controls" do... funny, eh?
But I'm rambling... thanks so much. The classic RE4 controls are gold and I've been using a remapped Switch Gamecube controller (the Hori one) to play with OG style. I have some legit Gamecube controllers, I'm curious if this mod can work with those to some capacity? Thanks again.

I'm trying to get this to work with an original Gamecube controller on an 8bitdo bluetooth adapter and it's ALMOST right except a few of the buttons as far as I've tested.
X is run, B is ashley commands and pressing down R opens the map. Z doesnt do anything anymore.

On all versions of the ps2 layout mod, the B or circle button does NOT work.
I want to use X or Square to reload, and B or circle to run,
but the mod does not correctly remap B aka Circle.
Pls help Im going nuts, any other control scheme is horrid.
Tested with GLAP Play controller on steam link, and Dualshock 4 and Xbox One controller natively.
ALL versions of mod!!!

Can you make a version of this mod with xbox one buttons? I cant find one and making my own but that's beyond my skillset.

For some reason my inventory isn't working right... every item is invisible.
This only happen with RE4UHD PS Button Mod (Custom PS3 Layout) V3 - Chris - Albert HD Project R3 Update.
any help?

Yes. Sadly, using your button mod causes the game to crash on boot with the Released HD Project.
I'm personally going to hold off from playing and wait patiently for your update. I can't stand the default layout, and your mod was always essential to me.

Hi, this 's not working anymore with the new HD Project 1.0 just released on re4HD.com. Please fix, the game crashed and can not start after install the mod.

Same here, Installing the V6 flavor of this mod results in instant CTD when used with the Resident Evil 4 HD Project V1.0
