Hi I know nothing about making mods in RE, but I always used some of them like model swap in RE4, RE5, RE6, Revelations 1 and 2... So I was thinking, do you guys think that will be possible to make at least model swap in the pc version? So we could play with Leon in Claire campaign (and vice versa), play as Ada Wong in Leon campaign, etc... Thanks for the info

Could be possible if the modders have the right tools.
Maybe a trainer in the future tho...

Definitely wanna see that, More specifically i want more costumes for Leon such as his RE4 outfit either with the jacket or without it or maybe an option to pick between both and if Capcom doesn't add it as an unlockable costume then a trainer/mod would be best bet.

ive been asking everyone who knows how to use cheat engine to try and find a way to make it work but so far no one wants to look into it dunno why xD

For now we can only extract tve .pak without any kind of way to identify specific files

I see that people in the demo managed to model swap. I really hope to see a trainer or something like this in the full game. So excited!
I would love to put Ada to replace Hunk xD

I imagine that model import from other games are way more complicated, but I see this being possible some day due to RE community modding experience. Cheat engine stuff is being difficult at the moment. but model swapping from files is possible, it may be a bit buggy but Ali did a tutorial on how to did model swaps link

Using this method I think the characters animations/voices won't carry over, am I right? For example, if I put Claire over Leon, it would be her model but with Leon's animations and voices, right?

Can someone pass me a mesh file from RE2? I want to examine them a bit. I deleted the demo and I've heard you can't extract from the full game yet
