Hopefully voodooman will release a tool so we can distribute the mods easily by only including the edited texture and not the entire packed file, this way we can mix various mods for our own personal use

Almost in every game I play, I try to make an HUDless mod, being it for adding some difficulty to the game or for taking clean screenshots, I guess you will use it for the later...anyway: www.mediafire.com/download/vcyc662kexmk69z/Re4_HUDless_mod.rarBtw I didn't removed on purpose the QTE keys prompts, to not make the game that impossible to play... So uh... What files have you changed to remove the HUD? I'm trying to use the Shaders + No Film Grain + No HUD, but I can't seem to find the HUD files so I can merge them with the rest of the mods.

They were many textures, but they are easy to find, just unpack the file and look for tgas replacing the original dds...
Btw I just finished a PRO playthrough using this mod and is certainly possible to do it without too much trouble, the only inconvenience I found was that there is no way to know if you have maxed health to keep using yellow herbs or switch to normal red+green herbs...

Would making only the white marker that shows current max health help? That way you'll know it's maxed out by when it's lined directly vertical. You could even provide 2 downloads that provide each experience

That's the issue. I tried doing that, and all I got was a crapton of switched textures for the HUD and the "You Are Dead" screen.

0236.dds is the max health white strip and it totally helps if you want some visual aid. But the thing is that I find this tiny white line too distracting myself so I didnt included on the original package...oh well
But I guess it will help someone, so, post updated!
Don't know if someone notice but I removed the shining column effect of the items dropped in this mod, if someone miss this effect I can restore it too...

Unpack HUDless mod, then unpack Martin's Shader Fix and copy the following textures from Martin's Shader Fix to HUDless mod folder: 0000.tga, 0001.tga, 0002.tga, 0003.tga, 0004.tga . Delete the dds with the same name in HUDless mod folder and repack the file...

There are only 0000, 0001, 0002, 0003, 0004 tga files. I just copied those and it looks like it's working.

Hey Marcelo20xx and Marcelus how do you unpack the.pak files???>. like you were telling marcelus to do. I don't know how to do this I'm new to moding. Do I need some special tool or software??? also a guide would be helpful. I'm trying to combine HUDles with shaderfx and no film grain any help would be much appreciated.
