so, as the tittle says, this mod removes her Cap ingame and in cutscenes, this way you can completely replace her with a capless version of her. im not gonna jump into stupid comments like "this was carefully adjusted with high precision and it doesn't have alpha issues like other mods around the forum because other mods were bad because im sooo good at modding" (this is obviously sarcasm) (yeah, you know im writing straight to you *points out this dude with the finger* xD, all mods are time consuming and you shouldn't be speaking like that of other people's work just to feel better with yourself, as a modder you know how much time modding can take away from you, all kinds of mod should be valorated and you shouldn't be trying to get other people's attention saying stuff about others work.) and all that crap. This mod is simple, it just removes the cap from jill using her battlesuit hair and textures, i re-used the tone from her bsaa hair and adjusted the float points so the brightness is the same one as her original bsaa's one, nothing more, so enjoy! She replaces Jill BSAA from LIN (upl02Jillcos4.arc) Updated Geared Versionplus, if you guys would like a version without equip and/or swaps over any other character just let me know and i'll post it here edit: as requested by KamiA, here's a version without her gear and her ear thingy xD the textures were by him, special thanks to Syndeh by the method for fixing her cutscene model without tons of arc files: This updated version was made using an hybrid between Jill's DE model's hair and her Ingame Rig, if i used her cutscene rig her front hair will go Nuts moving waaay too unrealistic xD as the result she have backface culling from the player's view, no more invisible hair for this lady so anyway, i hope you enjoy! Plain Versionby the way, i updated the geared version with the same features as the plain one, and i fixed her breasts and her gun, i assigned the wrong bone to each in the first version xD im sorry. Great job. Without a cap, she looks much better. Long time ago I wanted a similar mod for her. I don't understand why Capcom simply did not add a separate arc files for a Jill's head for all cutscenes, as did Chris and Sheva. I mean, that you need to edit each arc file for replace Jill's head in each the cutscenes with her.
As I said earlier, I would be happy to see the same mod replacing Sheva as Jill in the main story mode with full the cutscenes support. Yes, there will be still a Sheva voice, but who cares, when you have Jill.

Thanks Everyone! i just noticed that her Cutscene hair from DE have backface culling, which isn't included on her DE Player Model, i'll have to re-do the weight transfer to add her backface culling, so when you aim the model doesn't seem invisible from the perspective of the player. Her Dlc appearances are strange, she have a model for her cap separated from the body inside the scene arc, but at the same time she uses her playable model to render the cap and hair, something that isn't done with any other character, even enemies like wesker and allyson aren't using this simplified method lol

annoying indeed... i wonder if it's like this on the PS3 version as well or if it's just messed up in this port. I mean.. there are so many duplicate files scattered around because they extracted stuff to prevent crashes it seems ~_~
anyway... This is a super nice mod. And if you want to make it a bit simpler for Lost in Nightmares it seems it is enought to just pack her new head model and texturs in the uPl02JillCos4.arc and it works fine. But i only tested the intro cutscene so far.

Regarding cutscene fixes, I believe you can insert her head model (name evf something?) to the inside of her arc uPl02Jillcos4.arc, that way you don't have to include those cutscene arcs in your mod (it worked for my Alone in Africa mod).

question for ya -IronSoul- why doesnt her gear have physics XD Not tested this mod yet. She lost her gear movement? Maybe this is due to the fact that the base Jill Battlesuit doesnt have additional bones for this, like the BSAA?

indeed that's the reason, by the way her gear physics were almost unnoticeable, that's why i took one for the team and adapted those to the main bones, in REV1 she doesn't have those and for me it's fine, but here you'll have to choose, either leaving half of her hair frozen or a less giggly equipment. i can make both versions but it's up to you.
