So I'd like to get Sheva here to stop spamming a grenade launcher, and use it liberally with the flash rounds it has. Generally I'll load her up with a sidearm, machine gun, and rifle, but when I set her to attack, the AI always equips the launcher over everything else. Even for ranged combat she will just spam useless flash rounds for damage. Can someone explain to me why this is the case? I'd love her to be useful with this, but it doesn't look possible.

Much appreciated. This makes a lot more sense. Does the AI prefer a weapon with higher capacity over higher firepower in the instance she has two of a weapon type equipped? Basically, if I have her on cover with a fully upgraded M92F and a fully upgraded H&K P8, she always prefers the M92F over the P8. The only exception to this was when I gave her the M93R. She always went with it over the M92F.

In that case, she mainly prefers the most expensive gun including upgrades price (choose sell to check its price), however there's some few exception factor which I don't know (for example, she prefers maxed Ithaca M37 over maxed Hydra).

Huh. That's interesting. Never would have figured the most expensive gun would be the case. Either way, thank you for the explanation. It's greatly appreciated.
