So... I'm having a HUGE problem with X360ce here. Although I see a lot of people making tutorials on how to make a generic gamepad work as a Xbox controller in RE4 HD, i didn't manage to get it right. It works in Resident Evil 5, but not in Resident Evil 4. Is it some kind of compatibility issue? Or there is anyway to get over this problem?

I really aprecciate the help. But my problem is a bit worser. X360ce simply doesn't work in my RE4 HD installation. It is working is RE5 like I said, but when i configure it to play in RE4, it doesn't even show as a controller option. Every time X360ce is activated in RE4, the game don't recognize the controller, forcing me to play with the keyboard instead. I've installed and unninstaled the game several times and updated as well downgraded the X360ce version. Nothing works. I would be fine with the standard controls, the issue with them is that aiming is configured as the right analog stick, and this layout is really bad to aim. I guess i'll return to RE4 2007 instead.
