Here is an Ada skin for Separate Ways long ago done by master skinner and modeler Satyr, it was one of my favorites back then so I just ported it to the new HD edition. Yus, this one is awesome. Question, does Ada's dress in the main story cut scenes(not seperate ways) use a differnt texture file. I would really love for this to show up in cutscenes.

Every cutscene that is not prerendered in the game uses its own texture pack, if there is enough interest I can do it, that's why this mod is on a WIP section, to have some feedback and suggestions

let me understand... the model have two different textures? one to ingame and another to cutscenes?

Correct, more like there is a model exclusively used on cutscenes and another low poly one used in standard gameplay, this was the reason the original PS2 and the subsequent 2007 port didn't have realtime cutscenes, because the high poly one model would be too demanding for the PS2 emotion engine...
It could be gone as far as to have a different model for every cutscene, since I saw at least 10 set of textures for Ada in the red dress...

I would love a mod that replaces the lower poly models from in-game to the higher quality models used in cut-scenes. is that possible?

Once we can unpack the models from the udas and then repack them it can be done.

If then, is it also possible to give Separate Ways the high poly models of herbs and such. I know they look like the rest of the game in the inventory when you look them. But when they are out in the open and you pick them up they show the PS2 models. I know it's a minor thing but I get annoyed by even tiny inconsistencies. Sorry for asking another off topic question

Yes sure, we can manipulate the models like we did on the old 2007 port unless this time they changed the format alot, but since this kind of mod would require a high poly model already in the game (the examine model) it would be no problem
