Greetings… I know that this game mostly uses pre-rendered images instead of 3-D models for many of the rooms, however I am looking for some assets to rebuild these rooms using 3-D models. I have been able to extract many of the rooms from the umbrella chronicles game, however not all the rooms are present.
I am wondering if anyone knows if there are any other games that might contain some of the 3-D models and/or textures for these missing rooms? Or maybe other data I can get from the game files.
Happy Modding!

it's hard because umbrella chronicles is the only game that actually is based on the remake, what you can do and i've seen impressive results of this method is, use the pre-rendered image as base and then start drawing basic/primitives 3d shapes over the background on a 3d program and then start giving it details, someone used this method on resident evil 1.5 backgrounds and got pretty accurate results. the textures however might be a problem, but im sure that you can re-use most of the umbrella/darkside chronicles textures to get a pretty close result.

Hey thank you for the reply… I appreciate any insight that people are willing to offer. I am curious about the methods that I could possibly use. Do you think you could elaborate on that process a bit for me? I'm confused as to how I might Draw 3-D objects over a thr 2-d base? Also I'd like to see some examples of this 1.5 project you talked about if you can point me in the right direction I would be stoked Thanks again for your insight

i can't help right now because of the poor time periods that i have for my modding/playing stuffs, about the 1.5 example here you have a very clear example of what i mean of course not a 100% what i mean because this is the actual room coding process, but as you can see, a pre-rendered background as base and you start making basic shapes over it to fit the room proportions.

hey thanks for the info. I can relate to not having enough time (this project has already taken months).. Can you tell me what am I looking at in your last post? Is this one of the game files extracted and put into some software?

as you can see, a pre-rendered background as base and you start making basic shapes over it to fit the room proportions. jsut want to bump this again.. I asked : Is this one of the game files extracted and put into some software? what software are we looking at in this example?
