This is the best mod I have ever created. It basically is an update version of my old Nightmare mod but is a whole lot better.
I'm glad I finally able to release a first chapter of this mod. It been almost 3 years since I started it.

I'm glad I finally able to release a first chapter of this mod. It been almost 3 years since I started it.

Bug/Known Issues :
- You can't change weapon or use inventory in Chapter 2-3. I added temporary weapons (Turret, Flamethrower, RPG-7 NVS) to compensate for that.
- The RPG-7 NVS is actually very weak, don't think of it as an rocket launcher .
- [GFWL version] I have experienced some crashes when you bring too many weapons, try taking some out if it crashes.
- [GFWL version] The Explosive Gun Turret (from 3-3 Irving fight) is very buggy when added to other stage, command your AI partner to use it.
- [GFWL version] The explorable town section before Ndesu fight (2-3) doesn't work, so it's skipped (the stage file s111.arc is included in GFWL Patch).
{Spoiler} Devil Allyson, Chainsaw Majini (fire), Executioner (Train Yard), Reynard???, Red Buikichwa, Female Chainsaw Majini.
Some more Remarkable Scripts :
- Added on ground sections for Chapter 2-3. To proceed, you have to destroy all trucks then get back to the jeep, or kill all enemies.
- You can fight Ndesu without Jeep, but infinite ammo is likely needed.

- Newly Edited Lightning : Starting from sunset and then to night time! (Look a lot better than my old Nightmare Mod)
- New Stage Scripts : New spawn, new scene, things that you have never seen before.
- Harder : More enemies. More dangerous environment. Not recommended if you're still new to RE5.
- New Enemies :
- New BGMs Added : Mostly taken/edited from the OST of 4,5 and REV2.
Note that this doesn't replace any original bgm, so you can still play un-modded chapter without worries.
- New Title Screen and Chapter Selection Menu : See screenshots. Also renamed difficulty to Normal-Veteran-Professional-Nightmare so it fits more with the increased difficulty, some texts are also changed (some unused subtitles, chapter name, etc) (English only). (If you hate this, just restore your original MenuResource.arc, TitleResource.arc, Title2Resource.arc, MsgResource_e.arc, Msg2Resource_e.arc)
- New Result Screen Image
- Cutscene are unchanged : Not worth the time, lightning files of a 10-sec cutscene are bigger than that of a playable stage.
- New Stage Scripts : New spawn, new scene, things that you have never seen before.
Some Remarkable Scripts :
- Active some unused dialogues.
- Kirk comes to assist you near the end of 1-1 Public Assembly.
- Human Allyson. Please try not to kill her.
- Save Room area style where you are safe when entering this specific area. Also music here.
- In some stages, you'll be able to backtrack to the previous one, though there is not much to do back there as RE5 system, unlike RE4, RE5 never record anything that happened once you move to the different area. I had to work around a lot just to carry over a single key item between 2 areas. *IMPORTANT* If you quit the game during the backtracking, when reload, you'll have to replay that area from the beginning.
- Some differentiation between different difficulties (Mostly split to Amateur-Normal and Veteran-Professional). This should increase replayability.
- Drop rewards for doing certain things, for example: burn Allyson in the furnace.
- Extra Challenge : can be activated by opening the red sarcophagus (see screenshots). Will change the clear condition of that area.

Q : Being almost halfway into the story mode, have you thought about doing the same for the bonus content? I.E / Desperate Escape & Lost in Nightmares
A : Yes. It'll probably not the same quality. At least, all unused dialogues will be in.
Q : Once Night Terror is finished do you have any new projects planned?
A : Aside from LiN and DE, no.
Q : Is Night Terror going to be your last project?
A : Probably yes. I'm not really interest in RE4 or RE6. And I can't mod newer games anytime soon because my PC is very old.
Q : If collision files for the maps get discovered in RE5 and are exploited into modding, this would unlock nearly limitless possibilities, will Night Terror get updates if this happens? I.E / RE Remaster using RE4 engine LINK
A : I want Night Terror to simply based on story mode. If the tool actually happens, I will make new mods.
Q : Do you have a discord that could be used as testing grounds for Night Terror? Or a discord at all?
A : I think this thread and youtube should be enough. I'll probably don't have time to handle multiple communities. I'm opening for suggestions though.

A : I bought RE5 steam version in June 2017 and now has 1500 hours on the record. So that's roughly 13 hours a week.
