I am making a mario music pack mod and I want to re-texture the title screen of at least a still image of mario's head from mario 64 or is there anyway i can replace it with a gif? Heres the image I want to replace the title screen with.  or this one

you have to edit the TitleResource.arc file

Ok thanks, I'm assuming i just extract the arc and the dds texture file should be in there?

I've extracted the arc file but I don't know which one is the actual title screen or how I open it.

I've already extracted it is what I'm saying. I just don't know which of the extracted files has the texture file for the main menu screen.

If your just wondering about the textures open them in something like paint.net and just look. the BM .dds files are the diffuse/color textures.

Ok, I didn't know you needed paint.net to open the files. I just saw blank images. To you by any chance know which one is the specific one for title screen or is it multiple? Or am I going to have to look myself? It's fine if you don't know.

Or am I going to have to look myself? It's fine if you don't know. You don't need paint.net specifically, but that program is free. Also I looked in the arc but I wasn't able to find the texture for the title screen. in case you didn't know there is an arc list for each game on this site that helps a lot in finding the correct arc. It is always in the tutorials board. Here is a link: RE 5 Arc List

I've seen the arc list already. But nothing else says it has the title screen. It's ok, I'll figure it our some day.
